I went & did my usual IAM rubbish at Squires today & when I got back my mate Moonie (who remembers Moonpig off the old ORG?) was there with his mate (who's name I've forgot) with his new K4? He's on here too but can't think as who.

So we got an excellent 'before and after' use type pic.

Another run out to the Thomson Dam yesterday via Poweltown, Noojee, Willow Grove and Erica.
A little unnerving seeing the fire truck coming out of Walhalla with lights ablaze and sirens on as we were heading in as it's a one way in, one way out sort of a place... Just a small fire at Coopers Creek apparently and the local police were cruising around the place too so I'm sure we would have had a warning if required. Plenty of smoke around yesterday but a great ride all the same.
I plan on living forever - so far, so good!

I'm thinking its safer to ride a motorcycle....... hav'nt left the wharf yet

Taniwha

Just been totting up my timesheet for the fortnight from Dec 24.
Not including the three public holidays,
I've worked 126.5 hours.
And driven 2301.8 kms
Including two trips to Canberra and one to Maitland.
And with the heatwave in Sydney this week,
Of the 40hours from 7am Friday till 10pm Saturday, I worked 35 of them.
And then I did another 10hrs today.

Geez I'm knackered. Only three more months till I get some time off.

Took mine for a ride last week 3,900klms, Brisbane to Gippsland and back in 4.5 days.
Had some fun in the Yarra Ranges  :)
Then with 340Klms to go started to see some wire  :bugga:
Dropped some air pressure to spread the load and limped home.

Wow, now that's some big kms in 4.5 days  :onya:
At least you spotted the wire before it caused a major problem & that's a beautiful looking 14 you have there Convert  :salute:

I just booked a couple of ferries.

Sick of how down I am currently, I've been signed off work with stress since mid Nov. So on saturday I'm off to Spain & Portugal on my 14 for just over two weeks. I plan to drop into Gibraltar too as it's rude not too.

The entire plan is - off the ferry at Santander, head west & then south till out of time & back to the ship. I'll spend a few days in the Picos if it's not covered in snow & then down the Portuguese coast  till I turn left towards the Med.

Preparation will involve packing a bag, washing my bike & checking the tyre pressures. I'll try not to loose my phone on this trip.

Ah Spain, my favorite riding destination. Henso to Anso is a must do, if it's not snowing.

I've checked a few things & it seems very rude not to catch a ferry & ride the Morocco coast road, then a ferry back to Spain the same day too. I won't stay over there long as not bothering with travel insurance etc for it, the coast road is 1 1/2 hours long between Tangiers & Ceuta (the bit Spain owns over there).

It'd be the first time I'd been out of Europe, so doing on my bike makes it very rude not too.
