Very jealous of you from Down Under. I've been fortunate enough to have circumnavigated our land and bisected it on a bike.

I've got an itchy throttle grip and would love to jump on a ferry and take in a different country and culture.

It's occurred to me I might need to sort paperwork & stuff. Seems I can get away without an international driver's licence, but do need a greencard. I'll phone my insurance company soon to see if I can get one by friday (when I leave) otherwise I can't go or will need silly expensive insurance at the border which isn't worth it for a few hours riding.

I can do the rest of the trip, it's just Morocco being outside the EU that makes it more interesting to organise, I really shouldn't do these trips as a last minute thing.

You know, the more I read about the customs/insurance/other rubbish the more I think it might not be worth it for a day or two. Just seems a lot of hassle with people speaking french (One of the most annoying langauges to hear for some reason).

Might as well leave Morocco out of the plan. Go to southern France instead.

I'd only go there if my first stop was Italy! That won't be happening on this trip.

Today was a little run with MT10. They are far better at moving along compared to 14.Much newer and sport based. I wasnt far away. Was mate on Yammy and good news is he needs to store it, buying an extra bike. Of course i said i have space. Bottom line, after Diavel now gone i might have another toy to play with. Looking forward to that plan.

Ride yesterday,  W.O.F. (MOT) today, didn't even clean it. Hope she goes through ok.

New 12 month WOF obtained.   Said headlight was too low, so they adjusted it, like to say free, but they invented a problem with a switch & said they could replace it there n then for under $20.  OK I thought, but bloody strange I thought, but they said they'd already tested the switch & it was dead, ok, do it.

Get the bill for new switch & labour to fit, $60 + GST!!!    So check this new switch when I get home & it's NOT new, it's probably my switch (or a 2nd hand one they had)  Pissed off.  Can't prove anything as I didn't see it, however it was working fine yesterday, so I'd be bloody amazed if it died on the way to the stealership. 

I could go back & rip into them, but they could say we did you a favour by putting a replacement in, brand new are a lot dearer blah blah.  Can't prove it, so can't do naf all about it.

They probably want some money off me as they keep sending me reminders it's time for a service & I always reply I do my own servicing.  I'll be more careful next time & be wary of them.   Bloody poor realy that a stealership would do that.    So, wonder how they get the name stealership then?
