Roo

Got out for a fang this morning early.  No 91 at my local so threw in 95  !!
I've used 91 for years but 95 was quite noticeable, smoother down low and pulled cleanly from 2000rpm in 6th .
When prices settle I may even start using 95 ?????

I've used all three Roo, mainly a tank of 95-98 to clean out the system.Never noticed much difference but I reckon a few more ks on a tank full.👍

GSXKING

I've always used 95 with the occasional 98.
I'm pretty sure 91 isn't sufficient for the burn we need.

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Eric GSX1400K3

I've found she runs best on 95RON, no difference on 98RON.  Noticeable extra kms compared to 91RON.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Hooli

All my bikes have always been smoother on 97-98 than 95, everyone of them. Noticeably more power on some too. Plus I've found better economy so it's actually no more expensive or slightly cheaper to use as well. I typically get 20-25miles more per tank on posh fuel than the normal stuff with my original 14.

Not so much the bike but new floor on the concrete garage floor, much nicer and warmer too
Thankfully we all like different things, and I like a modded GSX1400

Ordered new cushions for the petrol tank. Despite being taped together and put into a lidded box. One of the originals has disappeared into thin air, while I've been searching for the loom for that damned intermittent fault.  ???

My garage must be haunted, by mischievous ghosts, as this has happened before.

Lost a bolt off the exhaust clamp. Nice day, so I stripped everything, out the garage. Swept the floor put everything back, without finding it. Three years later, it suddenly, reappeared lying in the middle floor.  :confused1:

Hooli

I lost one of those once, got sent one by someone on here. Then months later the original appeared in the middle of the garage floor, no way on earth it'd been there all that time!

I know the feeling.  :confused1: Seems to happen around here, quite often, with all sorts, of things.  :whatever:

I lost sidecover grommet, came out while removing cover. Searched everywhere, gone. Bought a newie, all good. Not sure how many years & ks later, cover off, here it was lying down below🤷🏼Those bloody tank rubbers $33 each Mine are glued on.

Eric GSX1400K3

I tried several times with a rubber glue to fix those tank rubbers to their steel mounts. The glue just went hard and didn't key to the steel very well.  Now they are fixed with Araldite (2 part epoxy glue). We shall see.  Next step will be a stainless tek screw and an oversize washer to hold them in.

Industrial super glue would do it Eric, I've got some here, come & get it & we can have a beer as well . . .

Almost regular Spring maintenance: oil and filter change, new tyres, new chain... so nothing special or exciting, except the latter changed with something I wanted to try for some time: significantly lighter 525 chain instead of 530, together with 'light' front sprocket.
High end DID ZVMX2 525 chain is labeled suitable for Hayabusas, so I guess we are good to go :-)

Did a first short-ish road test between two episodes of bad weather, and I can say it is up to expectations -- although the rear tyre seems less happy with it :-D
