Lovely day here today so went for a blast. Called in at CMC in Clay Cross Derbyshire to see if the 14 was still there - and it was. At £8098 I'm not surprised  :whatever: Salesman seemed convinced it would go at that price tho

As I was leaving another B/W 14 on a 55 plate pulled away in front of me. As mine is the same colour I was able to keep up!! If you're on here - very nice looking bike mate

I took my 14 as far north as possible on the Isle of Lewis. Then I wrote on a beach.

I never felt a thing, worst luck :(

My 14 now has a protective coating of salt after three nights on Stornoway pier, the only free parking near my hotel. I'm now on the ferry to Ullapool where I'm stopping the night before going home tomorrow. My 14 will need another service and anither rear tyre once I'm back. I hate to think how many of each I've paid for over the years.

In other news the Caledonian hotel in Ullapool Has a proper bar now with beer taps and everything.
I'm just trying a couple of whiskies as it's rude not to when in the Highlands.

You are in for some cracking roads on the way down, the company that I used to work for built a windfarm about an hour south of you by Lochluichart a few years back

Hooli

Aye ive done the Highlands a lot so heading down the west side through Glencoe

seth

We used to live at the side of the highlands and now live at the bottom edge so loads more exploring to be done for a lad from the edge of the peak District it's great .

Raining most of the weekend and my recently broken wrist isn't 100% so I'm pottering about down the shed...

What you need Tony, is some more bikes!

I know !     :onya:

I don't really want to wait until the house is finished and sells, so I'm trying to free up some funds I have in the UK.

I need a bigger shed too but that's next years target.

Tidy shed Tony. How long before your wrist comes good.
Them roads are warming up.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Wrist still aches a bit, thought about trying the bike out today, but lots of rain around here so didn't bother, maybe it's done me a favour and rested it a bit longer.

Had a ride out just over the Derbyshire border into Staffordshire today and found a very nice pub called the Knights Table. Well worth a visit for anyone in this area, staff are very friendly and landlord (think he was the landlord anyway) is a biker. The roads are good too, but as we were on the edge of the Peak District it was a wee bit chilly  :)
