A grey dick?  is that cause you're old Jeff?

Actually Col it is charcoal because it is burn't out.
The rails contrast with the colour of the sky. But I didn't rain today thus the progress  :)

Kiwi, thats the Toyota price for DPF, only place available. Just trying to say how ridiculous it is. All under warranty so free except downtime. I agree on Corolla, mine a 2000 model, amazing little car.

Toyota are still in denial that it's a drama.
They are fixing vehicles under warrantee but are threatening to take legal action against various independent mechanics who have voiced their opinion on the issue.

It's not just effecting the current owners, it's bound to knock on to the used vehicle market. I wouldn't touch one that's out of warrantee and I wouldn't want to be selling one.

Shame, as I'd prefer one to the Nissan, VW, Ford (Mazda) or Mitsi equivalent.

I look forward to updates on this though....

Supposedly Toyota will replace exhaust manifold/ DPF with modified in near future. Costly recall. The talk is that the 5th injector  is at wrong angle which stops it cleaning the DPF. Mitsi Triton not any better, EGR blocks inlet manifold, have seen one. Full of black crap with about 25mm hole for air to go thru. Can happen in 30 th ks. Great vehicles.

All the current utes seem to have flaw's. I'm a little surprised Toyota is still the best seller.

I'm really NOT a fan of JC and I find him hard to watch but he has some valid points.

Start at 2 minutes 25 seconds if you need to avoid his drivel....
