Tally, good idea. I have full solder, braze, heat kit, old but good. Prob now is, they wont refill gas bottle. Have to buy a new one. $20 only but if not used for a while, gas  gets low, another new bottle. PIA. Used to be around 5 bucks to refill. They wonder why so much rubbish.

The wife rang me at work, motorcycle jeans at Aldi, would I like a pair.  How much I asked. 100 dollars was the reply. Yes I said.  Cane home and tried them on, 'Torque' is the brand.  Aramid lined in the bum, hips and knees, comes with hip and knee armour.  Ykk zipper and double stitched all round. CE approved. Not too bad at all I reckon, will give them a go. My current Draykos (by Draggin) are nearly worn out.

Will be looking out if they bring out a cargo style
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

motorcycle jeans at Aldi,

They're good quality jeans & fit well but wait until you need to piss. Unless you're hung like a porn star you really need to undo the top stud & belt or you'll struggle to get the old fella out.  ;)
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

I find Aldi "Torque" gear a real mixed bunch.

I have several of their paddock stands that were very cheap but they are fine. I have had a pair of their summer gloves and wore through the fingers in a few months.  Other stuff is similar, some find some not. At least it's cheap so you're not investing heavily in it.

When it rains it pours they say.  Solar hws element failed after 7years, so a new one needed...220.  Bathroom reno saw us put in a "back to the wall" semi free standing bathtub, the drain blockedrecentky, so i tried to unblock it and the drain pipe disconnected itself from underneath the bath, so bath has to come out to reconnect the drain..$$$..my plumber loves me.

Yesterday I noticed that the swimming pool salt cell is leaking, turns out the clear poly is cracked where the anodes enter into the cell, another 600-700 for a new cell.

:furious:

Heavy duty steel work bench.

I have a few workbenches in the shed but I wanted a "dirty" bench...  for sawing, drilling, grinding etc.

This one is seperate and near a door. Bolted it down to the concrete with 4 big expansion bolts, added an extra piece of thick timber for the top, drilled and added extra bolts, fitted my vice and bench grinder. It's pretty solid now.

About to change my shed around, re organise tool boxes, a new bench. Only taken 30 years. Work benches are bloody expensive. Will get new vice, new bench grinder, tidy up is all really. I think 8 old tool boxes can be turned into 3, so much shit in other boxes, my mission for next few months.
