Awesome tractors, one of the best,

It's what I've been after for a while.

A 135 Fergie with the Perkins 3 cylinder diesel motor, and NOT restored. Seen a few with "Dulux Restorations" new paint over a lot of crap.

It needs a few things, a couple of gauges don't work, needs seat pads, rear tyres are starting to crack. Nothing that's a drama, normal old tractor.  It drives fine, motor feels strong, arms and PTO etc work fine.

I'm after a flail mower, but slashers are cheaper and more plentiful (but I'd prefer a flail).

prob more grunt than Hooli HD.  :stir:

I didn't need the grunt as I didn't order the plough attachment.

Besides the only reason to go fast on a bike is because you're embarrassed to be seen on it, that's why busa riders always pin it on the straights.

Nice MF. Learnt to drive tractors on a MF back in my farm labouring days.  Then moved to Fendt specifically for low profile inside glasshouses and narrow tracks (my boss at the time was growing cut flowers year round) Best was the old MF though, easy to drive, loads of grunt, good visibility
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Irish in Oz

Just a bit of information on MF tractors, Harry Ferguson raced motorcycles and was also involved with Rex McCandless another well known motorcyclist and inventor.

A front set of Comet discs seem reasonable price at 150 quid, apparently they are made in the USA, and a full set of Goldfren S33 pads. Calipers are being refurbished as well all ready for this years touring.

Just over 2m of 300mm pipe.

The place I was about to use would only sell me a 4m length at 3 times what this 2m piece cost me, I only need 2 x 800mm pieces.   Saved myself a couple of hundred $$'s.

Tony I have a bit of a small old tractor fetish (bit in a non sexual way LOL) I'd love an old Ford 9N or similar for example, even though I don't have any property to put it to user on (or even park it).

I just made a sneaky purchase at MSY  (have to go pick up tomorrow at Slacks Creek hope its not raining).  Upgrading CPU to AMD 5800X3D and Noctua DH15S cooler.
Also got another SSD (2nd hand but near new at a great discount) .

Spend next couple of days putting it all together. :D

Had the painters in, great machine for painting the roof. Pleased to get it done as the roof needed some rust addressed. Cleaned out all the gutters and fitted leaf gaurd. Changed the colour which is quite refreshing. Money well spent.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Which way up does the seal go?  There's 2 internal ribs on 1 edge, I assume these aim down & the single rib, on the other edge, aims up?
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

I will check mate, haven't got them yet, but what you say makes sense, 1 up would be a secondary dust seal (back up for the main dust seal) , the 2 down one would be the main seal, the lowest one another wiper. At least that's how I see it, others on here with more knowledge may know more...

Hooli

Yeah I've always fitted them so the double seal acts on the oil & the single one keeps crap out.

T250

On the genuine seals I have just bought, there is a yellow dot on one side which I believe is the top of the seal, I'm sure it's been covered on here before...
