No not yet Eric, a mate has a 1200GS for sale, Now he's got a 1250 GSA. He keeps asking me if I want a test ride on the 1200.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

A nice breakfast ride this morning with a few mates. Can't believe how great the GSX1400 is going since I did the ECU reset ...before it was jerky in the lower gears when riding along at lower speeds ... Now it's so smooth !!!

What I did:

Negative terminal on battery - Off & wait a couple of minutes

Turn key on & Twist throttle to full and back 4-5 times

Reconnect the negative terminal battery.

Turn Key on and start bike

Even though its a pretty simple ECU, I also think that this hard reset has its benefits. AFAIK it allows all capacitance in the ECU to be discharged and clears any and all DTC's.  Used to do it to my LR D4, made a big difference there too.

I've done the same trick a few times, but never including the full throttle open close bit.  Thanks MickyJB, will give that a try next time.
