Is this group any use ?

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Hooli

I've spoken to several places over here about Cobra Chromes as I run them on my HD, apparently there's a production run due in February. If some do appear I need a rear so might order 3 (2 rear, 1 front) so I've got them ready & waiting.

Quote from: GSXKING on Sunday, 30 November  2025, 09:52 AMMy BMW monitors pressure but not temperature. I can usually assess the tyres preparedness for grip by the way the bike moves once cornering. 🙏
Chris, if you have access to a GS911 or Motoscan OBDII interface, change the unit for tyre pressures from bar to psi and it should also read temperature
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

KiwiCol

As a side note about tire temps, I have observed the front tire runs considerably cooler than the rear, like about ½ the temp.  The rear may be at 33c but the front will only get to about 16c even though the ambient at the time is 18 - 19c.  Apparently this is normal for bikes & there's several reasons for it.  To me it was an interesting observation.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Mr Gee

Woke up this morning and it was damned cold (3 degrees) but the sun was shining and the forecast said no rain.

So, out with the XSR9 (14 still playing up) and a nice little, jolly around the lanes of Shropshire, ensued.

Stopped at Poolhall for breakfast, before heading back home.

Sadly, the forecast was wrong but it was only, light showers.

So, all in all, not bad for the last day of November, here in England

Cooled down to 28 degrees C so a quick 163k's / 101 miles morning loop to get a coffee. Saw another blue bike to add to my blue trees photos as it's on the same theme, so stopped for a pic.

I find I was doing a lot of the same rides after 20+ years so I started to give myself things to find or ride out too. It's taken me a lot of places I haven't been or haven't been to in ages.

# Aussie Big ( and odd!) Things : Pineapple, Pelican, Boot, etc.

# Blue Trees (and now blue motorbikes)

# Tanks, jets, guns etc mostly at RSL's.

# I have done a couple of fire towers so that may be another.

I keeps me on the road and clocking up the miles, and I get to see new things and new places. I'm easily pleased!

Quick question Mr Nitro. How on earth, do you get all, those photo's on one post and in such, large format. ???

I can only manage, to get three on, at a time and I'm out of space.  :worshippy:

Here's another fire tower for you to track down on the DRZ. It's a good easy run across through Mt Binga to the Blackbutt area. Quite a few sidetracks to explore as well if you're feeling adventurous but the lantana can be an issue in places - worse than the photo below, this is just an area I felt like I could breathe in.

That's only 3 or 4 photos, they are a montage of smaller pics.
It's just a couple of screenshots of pics saved elsewhere.

My pics are hosted on ImgBB not on here.

That's great. I've never been there but know several of the road around that area. That's 100% on my to do list.

That looks like some snakey heaven in there.
No thanks.
There's always room in the world for a bit more tolerance and kindness.
