Irish, thanks for propping up Qld. Guess youre the reason my wife, after working her whole life gets $130 per fortnight. Without you would be zero. Oz just gave 500 mill to island states, not enough they said. Look after our own , not this country.

Grog, your wife is entitled to a pension and so am I have paid my fair share of tax over the 32 years in Oz. Don't whinge to me about how much and where it goes, I hear enough about Brexit. Anyway I have at least another 8 years before I see my state pension so I will have to live on low income untll then (which I am paying tax on in both countries), I hope the exchange rate is better then I can send my UK pension to Oz and vice versa.  :)

Today is supposed to be a warm 17 degrees, that's very good for here in winter, so planning to take one (or maybe both) out for a wee spin around the hills.  Cobweb clearing time . . . . :cruisin:
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

30 here today and the next 4 days 30+ and dry forecast. Had a "nice" couple weeks of rainy weather. Was good for nature.

NZ just gave the Islands a shed load of money. Its the trendy thing to do. The aim is to keep the Chinese out.....they are loaning the Islands lots of money. We all know what happens if you can't pay. China gets an airbase or port   :jack:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Painting the house today so no high mileage. Nipped up the cafe for a coffee before I start work...

That red framed Katana is the result of a nearly 4 year restoration.
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

Pete bought the 750 frame from a wreckers locally with no AU compliance and has been working at it ever since, collecting parts, painting, doing his own wireing, building the motor etc. It's an 1100 now and he has done over 700K's so far this weekend.

Peter documented the build on the Katana site. An interesting read started on the 18th September 2015 & goes for 195 pages.
