t24, stick some strong bolts/studs on exhaust manifold. renowned to breaking them off. great motors. they go well with turbo, low boost.
Thanks for the advice Grog.
Do you, or anyone else, know about adjustments or modifications of injection pump of that Toyota 2H engine in turbo use?
Boost levels versus power outputs?
That is not familiar engine to me (yet).

I'd assume if it's a mechanical pump you swap it for one off a boosted engine so it works properly.

I have chipped a Nissan Patrol that was already turbo, there can be other issues including air intake and exhaust size. The Nissan is quite smart and the engine management system will tell you of some of the problems. All fun and another learning experience, good luck.

On an A/L day. Had to bring my 6yo Aussie bulldog home after second knee reconstruction in 12 months.

My son wants a turbo to his old 4x4 HJ 60 Toyota. So I welded a T3 flange to HJ:s exhaust manifold.
Today I my son assembled it. Result: Top speed increased from 122 km/h to 178 km/h (gps) with 0.7 bar, What is too much to that HJ!

T24, i dont really know but have a look thru Aussie 4wd sites. Lots of good tips on them. Thats all i did, most seem to run 1 bar.max.

That pod filter looks... sub-optimal.  A wee bit squished eh.

That pod filter is taken from Yanmar 320 hp marine diesel. Everything is done with "zero budget", take what you have ;)

With a result like that at that price, you would have to be happy.

Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

Today..... I get to collect my 80 year old mother in law at 8am to drive her almost 150k West so she can have lunch with her disabled son who has decided to move out into the middle of nowhere. It may be a long day, or at least seem it.

Although we are very different my Brother in law isn't too bad to be around. Wasn't really the Saturday I had in mind though !

My wife is the bread winner in this house and I've done pretty well for vehicles, holidays, treats etc in the last year. I'm putting this one down as being time to pay my dues, and keep things sweet for the future.

300k round trip and lunch with an 80 year old. Rock and Roll, I'm living the dream.

Put her on the back of the Busa Tony, she'd like that I'm sure. Probably something she's never done - till now!
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

My Mum 88 soon. Pretty easy to take her out, different story on phone, she only hears about every third word. I just worked out its 53 years since my first bike, she still doesnt like me having them. Some things never change.
