Looks lovely & peaceful Irish, :onya: but,  thought it was called the Emerald Isle because it was green, what's this? the brown aisle?  :whistling: :stir:

I got offered a job in Oban today, but I'm going to have to say no as it's not enough money :( damn shame as I'd love to live up here, it just won't happen yet.

Not long after joining the RAF I was posted to Benbecula, wow I thought I can get to ride a camel and maybe have a go at a bit of sand-racing, what a shock it was to find it's not as faraway as I first thought.  However it turned out to be a great place, been back many times.

My 1400 owner's life today...

Working from home, recovering from a colonoscopy yesterday. If you've never had one of those I can tell you it's exactly like you would imagine. Basically a team of highly qualified people shoving a camera up your arse.

They were kind enough to give me some Fentanyl and some Valium-like stuff to take my mind off it. Laughing gas as well. I know the youth of today are mad for these drugs but personally I think they are over-rated. They certainly didn't distract me from the tunnel boring operation that seemed to be going on in my bowels.

I was waiting for one of them to stick an arm down my throat and shake hands with the other guy, like they did when they broke through under the English Channel back in the 1990s.

Anyway everything is fine now, glad to say, although I'm not allowed to drive until tomorrow - so no 14 for me (even though it's a lovely hot day).

Jeez Fishy that don't sound like too much fun. No need to post the footage, we get the picture.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

I just made an appointment with my accountant for this Thursday.

I then made an appointment with my doctor for this Friday.

I'm not sure which is going to be the better or worse of the two visits.

Just gearing myself up for 4x12 hour night shifts...
At least tonight is overtime and paid at time and a half :imrgreen:

When I had mine done I tried not to look at the pics on the 42 inch tv but like all tv you end up watching apparently there was no sport on that day ...I know a few mates that would pay for a zoom lens up the arse .I didn't have the pain killers and it was just "strange" - hurt most when they pulled the camera out  :)
The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

Another minor annoyance - it's the best weather in living memory but I'm not riding my bike to work. Why not? Because the local scrotes have taken to nicking anything that isn't welded down. A guy who works here had his MT-07 spirited away from right outside the office, broad daylight, CCTV everywhere but the yoofs don't give a monkey's.

I've got a chain that looks like it came off the Titanic, but the problem is there isn't anything sturdy to attach it to. We've asked the landlord of the building for ground anchors, but based on past experience they won't spend a penny that they don't have to.

Very frustrating.

2012 i had prostate biopsy. no fun, have a google what they do. i did mine awake, other 19 patients that day were knocked out. yeah, i sacked that specialist. worst experience of my life. excruciating. 2 days later we had a ride thru back roads for a pub stay. 185 ks. bumpy, gravel in places, very fast, i did it. not sure how. was my birthday that night, mates wanted to sleep, fuck em, i made them stay up after midnight. cant describe how you feel after that violation. proud i got thru.

Notty, probably wasn't the camera that hurt but the tripod  :whistling:

I had the the ole camera down the gullet. They said they could sedate me but l couldnt drive for 24hrs. So went ahead without sedation. Pretty strange sensation.
Be just another day at the office for Linda Lovelace l suppose.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Today I will start my third annual leave. Third time in my life. Four weeks off.
I can hardly remember my last vacation, it was in 1991...
What should I do?  Maybe it's written on the bottom of some beer can?
