Sounds painful. I assume it's lots of ibruofen & wait for the swelling to go?

She's brought home enough drugs to kill a horse...Twice!!
Pain relief when she had it done was instant after the actual discomfort of the "Knitting needle" going in.
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

Mrs F is having her spinal nerve block injection as we speak..I just on my way down to see her and hopefully bring her home "Pain free".

She's been stuck in hospital in agony now for the last nine days

Tough time for you both Froudy!   Hope she gets some relief!   You mentioned in one of your posts that it was discs... was this the final diagnosis?  If so my heart goes out to her.. done that and bought the T shirt!!

Final diagnoses was "Nerve root compression on L5" This explained the lower back pain as a result of her fall a couple of Sundays ago. She also has similar towards the top of her spine where 9 weeks ago she turned over in her sleep and fell out of bed bashing her shoulder and back as she hit the floor.
It's not been a good few weeks for her as on top of all this it was the first anniversary of her Mum's death last Monday. At least she got some "Day release" to come home for part of her birthday yesterday..That cheered her up!

Jeez Froudy, she has had a rough trot.
Best wishes to Mrs F and you & hope it all gets better soon.

Had a ride up to Bude this morning to see the paint shop about some bits n pieces, came back along the coastal road via Widemouth Bay, down in to Crackington Haven, Boscastle, on to Tintagel and then home, weather got better as the morning rolled on.

gsxbarmy

Beautiful bit of road that one to Boscastle and Tintagel, was only driving it (in the car) myself a week ago  :onya:
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

44 miles on a pushbike mostly offroad, I'm sodding knackered now! The more important measurement of the ride is 4 pints, for medicinal purposes to prevent dehydration were consumed on the way.

Irish in Oz

Went out on Mk1 1200 Bandit today, new steering head bearings ordered.
First time out 6 weeks after arriving. They wouldn't insure me on my Aussie licence, and from there on more crap, finally got it sorted the other day. Spanners out tomorrow.

Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Nice pad Tony.
Love those wooden floors.
Cool Globe.

I am a fan of timber floors got them right through my house, not so keen on timber decking in Oz but I know the Kiwi's like them.
