hes a beauty tony.

He's almost 11.
He was about 4 when I got him.

He's pee's a lot, loves his food, is starting to show his age, is a bit grumpy, he sheds a lot of hair.

We have so much in common...

We both like our Bunnings sausage sizzles!

enjoy him while you can. saddest day of my life was taking misty to vet for last visit. 5 yrs ago but i still get shaken when i think about it.

grog

today was golf, played ok. ended up really good, i found a 20 buck note on course and won the daily 60 buck meat tray. happy person.

Batkwaka

Went to Supanova in Perth, bought some Star Trek Memorabilia, a Deadpool fridge magnet and checked out all the Costumes people were wearing. I really enjoy the effort some people make in their costumes.
May the sun be warm & shining and your roads be smooth & winding.

Hooli

I do like those Blue Healers, too damn expensive over here to ever have one though. I think there are only two registered breeders in the UK.

One day I'll have an English Bulldog though, I've wanted one since I was a kid.

Brings back some fond memories Tony.
Best dog I have ever had was my Blue Cattle dog. They have 1 master, very loyal, bloody smart & easily trained. Fantastic mate of a dog.  :onya:

Kiwifruit

Went to a boozer in Auckland with the boss, caught up with some old school mates and their ladies. Watched the All Blacks give the French a tickle up.
Great night out .
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

If you know your firearms....

We have a H Holland shotgun with Damascus barrels. An early production version before the company became Holland and Holland in partnership with his nephew. Holland and Holland along with Purdey are the only manufacturers to hold a Royal Warrant, often referred to as the Bentley or Rolls-Royce of guns. I've used it to shoot rabbits although its rarely used now.

Oh wow. Excuse me while I exchange my trousers for a more comfortable pair.
That'd be 1870s at least. I'm a big fan of English shotguns and double rifles. The good ones really are made by artisans. Only way to describe it.
My Uncle has an early W W Greener and I turn onto a 12 yr old dutch girl everytime I get an opportunity to touch it. It's totally embarrasing and totally not my fault. 😁

Well had my first roll off in about 15 year today im fine and the bikes ok just need to powder coat the right hand engine case
High st /west st /castle st in buckingham .
Going over the mini roundabout in high st takes you on to west st where the road turns 90degress to the right in the middle of which is the junction for castle st .

I was travelling from high st up west st a rspca van pulled out of castle st heading into high st she had to stop due to a car in front of her which left the back of her van in my path as i manovered around her i was quite supprised to see a nissan pathfinder 4x4 turning out of west st snd into castle st at this ponit we were about 4 feet apart with me looking down the middle of her bonnet .

So we all know what happens when a massive amount of front brake is applied while leaning over .

So im lying on my back with my head next to the passengers door of the 4x4 and my feet near her back wheel to my left and the rspca van rear wheel to my right how i fitted into this 3 foot gap im still not sure  at this point i thought we had hit head on.

So gettin up looking at her in the 4x4 and possibly shouting WTF i went to pick the bike up fearing the worst she was lying there ticking over back wheel turning only a foot away from the 4x4 so turned her off and manhandled her up then onto side stand to check the damage at this point the town is at a stand stiil as no one can go anywhere .

And much to my supprise just a small scuff on the engine a small scuff on the rear hanger and a very small mark on the bar end so we pulled down castle st and parked the poor woman in the 4x4 was in tears saying she thought she;s killed me the woman in the rspca van pulled up and asked if everybody was ok they made a bit of fuss over me which was quite nice i gave the bike another really good look over and said look it happens no was hurt and no real damage we.ll leave it at that .

Now every cloud has a silver linning iv had a twinge in my back from about 15 years ago when i was upside down in a ditch with a zxr750 this one was totally my fault but now theres no twinge my back feels the best it has for years this was about 5 hours ago lets see how i feel tomorrow  i.ll add pic.s in a mo

Latty66

Pic.s of damage nowt really very lucky

ooooppppsss - I was riding along a dual carriageway in rural Brecon Beacons with 2 mates and could see a bike down at one of the breaks in the dual carriageway - a guy on a bonnevile had tried a U turn and a Tractor (Harley?) caused him to grab the front brake and over he went ending up half in in the oncoming fast lane - he was trapped under the bike - we stopped ( 6 pots pulled up well from 120 ) and got him safe and only a few scrapes to the Triumph and one shaken rider - its something we will all do at some point - glad ur ok  :)

So, just got back from a 250 mile round trip to London to move my daughter out of her student house.. She graduates from the Royal Veternary Colledge next month.. Shes taking a year out then back again...

I hate that M1, still, only took a couple of hours to get back with a nice Maccy D's break half way up.. Off to Belgium on the bike next week.. Cant wait.. Recieved my Crit Air cert yesterday too.. Dont need it but got one anyway..
So if i do stuff all all day and noone sees me do it.. Am i still a lazy git?

Mister Fishfinger

I had a little run down to Sammy Miller's bike museum in the New Forest. Lovely day for it, not too hot, plenty of sunshine and grippy tarmac. I've never been round the New Forest before - it's lovely but you have to be careful because there are horses just wandering around all over the place and if they fancy crossing the road they will.

I went through a little village called Burley, classic English picture postcard place with tourists milling about in the high street and a horse wandering along the pavement as if it owned the place. Bizarre.

Anyway the museum is OK, it's mostly old British stuff so not really my favourite thing but interesting nonetheless. And it's only £9 to get in, which isn't bad.

My favourite bike was this lovely old Munch Mammoth. I remember it from when I was a kid, it was in the Guinness Book of Records as the most powerful production bike in the world (88bhp in the 1960s was a big deal). It's based on a 1200cc NSU air-cooled car engine. I'd love to have a go on it just to see what it's like.

No bike today.

Sanding down bifold doors so they close properly.
Oiling timber.
Fixing mailbox.
Taking palms to the dump.
Started digging out more roots.
Oiling timber in car port.

I just keep telling myself....
