He has forwarded the URL to another URL so when you go to www.gsx1400.org it takes you to http://www.chocolatefrogcompany.co.uk/. The framed bit means you dont see the http://www.chocolatefrogcompany.co.uk/ url, you see the gsx1400.org one.

Its like when BIG companies buy 100s of domain names but every single one takes you to the same web site.
So if i do stuff all all day and noone sees me do it.. Am i still a lazy git?

Would he have done that or just cancelled the domain registration and someone else has grabbed it...?

No, thats not how it works.. its not up for renewal until next year and the records still point to him owning it
