if here hadn't been set up we'd all just be sutting at home waiting and wondering if the org was ever going to be back up or back on

As I've said here and on FB, from time to time for all sites (even FB itself) shit just happens, beyond the control of the site owners/managers.

he's didn't know it was down till teatime ish and has been trying to get hold of synk since then but getting fed up of the lack of response so far .
i am going to speak to him tomorrow evening hopefully.

tonight i had a long chat with sheff about a few things
the old org is down as everyone knows
he's messaged synk several time but had no response yet .
he is very fed up about that and very flustered as he can only do so much of the admin and nothing as far in as it needs
he had spoken about getting the org more updated to run better on newer device's and be more user friendly  ( he does everything via his iphone6)
to be fair i could use 90% of the old org no problem  on my samsung S5 only thing i couldn't get was video .

he will keep in touch and hopes he'll hear something very soon but nothing more he can do untill synk re-surfaces .

he knows about here and that its a good place and the idea behind it all
he might appear here in the future but as you can imagine is very down on the whole forum thing just now.
he's  has been getting grief from all side of his life the org only being a part if that.

i now have his new phone number and will be keeping in touch with him.

if any more news comes i will let you all know

He's been through this before - Synk is only available when Synk wants to be, and it's very frustrating for him.  Synk did the same to Gnome when he was around, basically was unavailable and in the end that's what got to Gnome and why he stood down.

I really feel for Pete, as he's a decent bloke.
