old org

Let's give it some time before we write it of completely.  I remember it was down for a few days last time, and it was a day or so before we got any news on why and what was happening.  To be fair I can imagine it's now going to be way down on the priority list for Synk given recent events and lack of response to the org members.

Let's wait.....

Exactly what I was afraid of with the emergence of this site. I'd say Synk finally logged on & took the many negative comments to heart and has shut the org down.

I do hope that I'm wrong but I doubt it. A final statement from the org admin would have been nice.

Everytime it goes down with no warning it just pisses folk off
i hope its here for a very long time but fear the worst
folk stop going back after every time it crashes so less active members each time

been in touch with a few of thr old orgsters who are not here and they can't get in yhe old org either

I can't get into the old .org either.

Just hope all the years of information on there aren't lost forever

I messaged Sheff earlier, he had no knowledge of the org. being down or of an update, although he was at work, so lets hope its a glitch

he's didn't know it was down till teatime ish and has been trying to get hold of synk since then but getting fed up of the lack of response so far .
i am going to speak to him tomorrow evening hopefully.

I've said this before - I have most if not all of the main technical and "how to" articles stored down, been doing that over the past year or so, ever since it came back after the major disaster a few years back. So the info isn't lost, although it might take me a while to reformat it all and pop it up here. In the interim, if anyone needs anything in particular, feel free to pm me and I'll see what I can do
