its an old number but I've sent a text and it has gone through

well i got a reply from synk

he says
he didn't know the old org was down untill today
hes contacted the host company to try and find out whats happen with it
hes working in the middle east with limited access to the old org.

asked to put in facebook he knows its down but i dont have facebook .

time will tell if anything happens

Interesting he didn't respond to Sheff.  He should have known it was down.  Clearly he isn't interested enough to even check the org.

I somehow doubt it will be resurrected, Synk has known its down for over a week now, if not longer, its probably getting to the point of no return.

A great shame if that is the case for it to end like that after all these years, but with Sheff having resigned from the org as well (due to lack of response and communication from Synk amongst other things), then I'm not at all hopeful. I think Vladtepes got this place up and running just in time otherwise we'd all be going stir crazy

No I've not had any response from him either.
I was hopeful he might make a copy of the old database available to us to host as a static/archive site.  Would be a win for everyone - info retained and no ongoing work for him.  Shame.
