Good lookin bike Mate. Black tail? One day i want mine all blacked out , shiny bits and K7 Blue n white tank only. Black tail included. Always been a plan to do. Yours is so good.

BbigMmac

Thanks for the complimants. No black tail, all what is blue stays blue.

Hooli

I wouldn't black the tail either, it'd make it look like a cheap crash repair.

I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

I can't remember where the thread is that mentions it so I'll leave this here...

You know the special glue for the plastics in the clocks, with the primer as well as some type of super glue? well the primer works with normal super glue to stick these as I found out at the weekend when the glue in my pack had gone solid so I tried it as an experiment. Takes ages to dry, 10mins or so, but maybe that was cause it was cold. But it worked so it's all good.

Fitted GSX-R indicators, happy with result. Had a helper in the background.

I replaced the shift lever circlip on the Black, I see that fell off whilst riding as well. Bloody things, real odd size, 11mm. 10 too small(really) and 12mm comes off.  I stretch a 10mm to fit . . .  Can't get an 11mm circlip here.

Boltholder NZ have them. 11mm or 7/16. I kept at it today. Front calipers, pads and hoses replaced.

Changed rear pads, new ones squeal like a bitch so I put some copper slip on the backs, no difference so I need to investigate further.

What brand mjgt? I once put EBC in rear, so noisy. In the bin after few hundred ks. Metal Gear are perfect.

Mick_J

I have used goldfren again, last ones were perfect but these like to make a shit load of noise.  Never had this problem before so I want to solve what's the cause.
