If it were me, I'd be inclined to leave it alone as your bike is running sweet (as is mine) hence no reason to delving into the HP filter etc just yet.   Wait till you get some hiccups then have a look.

It doesn't  take much to look. My bike has been standing for four years so I would imagine it is much worse than normal well maintained bikes.

I'd check. It's easy to do and cleaning it early saves the high pressure filter getting blocked.
Piece of mind too.

I had some unbelievable news today, guess what was recovered two days ago....

I've already started the process to get her back, looks like lock kit and a check over is all that's needed. But I'll make sure of that before I ride her.

She was found locally that's all I know. The recovery place told me, I've not heard off the police.

KiwiCol

Well!  That is bloody amazing mate!   I, like you, thought she was gone forever.    So happy for ya mate.   :boogie: :onya:

Nice one!!! :onya:. Glad you got her back, looks like a bit of fettling and she'd be back on the road again  :notworthy:.

I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

gsxbarmy

Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Hooli

She's not back with me yet, but she will be.

I'm still shocked, I never expected to even see bits of her after the first week had gone by.

I'll get her sorted and get back to aiming for 250k miles...

Kiwifruit

Good on ya Hooli that is fantastic news. Be an interesting story if you get to hear it. Looks like it's been inside too.
Bit like getting a faithful pet back.
Well done  :onya:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎
