But seriously,@KiwiCol, the seat cover on the B&W , is that one of those 3D mesh covers? Been looking at them, I reckon they are ok.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Yeah, the B/W has a re-sculptured seat with a Gel insert.  I also put the mesh cover on as well after using 1 on the Yam 700 quad. Real comfortable, don't squish down, allow air flow - keeping cooler & not expensive, so why not.  The mesh also seems to help relieve pressure points, as I rarely get these nowadays.

It's funny really, the B/W has all the goodies n toys, yet the black feels more 'spirited' to ride. I def prefer touring on the B/W, but for a short blast, the black wins out.

You must get a lot of sandwiches in that tail pack.
Yep, can't recall the size, but it extends upwards which is handy when I pack in the 17" laptop n all me gear.  47L - 82L I think it is.  It's not on there all the time though.

Put this into E-Bay for the mesh cover, costs about $25 NZD (Motorcycle Black Anti-slip Air Stretchy Mesh Seat Saddle Protective Cover Pad)

The Gel insert came from E-Bay a few years ago as well, I see they have memory foam & Gel inserts avail now.  An upholsterer can carve out the required hole for the insert & re-cover the seat for not much at all.

Took the black for a ride up the Denniston Incline, where it met it's misfortune a few years ago.  Took a couple of snaps & stopped for another pic where she went over the bank.  No problems today & a few ghosts put to bed for it.

And a couple on the fateful corner & last one at a local watering hole after.

A couple from when she low-sided me on a hairpin bend (with loose stones) & went over the edge.

Pics don't give you the understanding  of how steep that Denniston Mine road is.
Quite an amazing place to visit and read about the history of the place. Hardy people.
Pleased your return visit was uneventful
