Ouch !!........ How did you do that, were you holding the metal between your toes ?

Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

OUCH,

That's looks real sore @grog but guess lucky you still have toes if an angle grinder had a go.

Yep we've all done silly things mate, me more than a few times. Hope it heals soon.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Mate of mine was straddling a water waste pipe in a trench wearing shorts and ended up bouncing between both thighs with one, Doc reckons he missed his femoral artery by millimeters ,I hate those bloody things and give them full respect

Kiwi, not holding with toes. I asked which blades were the best, most shatterproof. Makita was told so thats what i got. Thats what happened, easy run cut, no reason why but just flew to bits. Bits landed on toes. Will buy a sabre saw, no more angle grinders. Mate next door has a 9 inch, angle grinder that is. Banned on most building sites. He got it for free, it kicked back and cut his mates arm off. Glad i didnt borrow that one.

Irish in Oz

Happened to me and I had steel toe cap boots on, years ago the 4 inch makita had toggle on off switch on end, sitting on bench with extension lead and mate turned it on, the grinder took off down the bench flew off hitting my boot just behind cap cut through leather and badly grazed foot. Worst thing was the crap in the disc helped infect the wound.
Then there was the time I put a 4mm drill through my finger, lucky the drill had reverse so it came out easier lol.

Me and my foot off to Doc again tomorrow. Sure has the pain kicked in today. So glad its not gearchange foot. Read a story today, old mate using angle grinder, piece flicked up and hit his face, he immediately lifted both hands to face, problem was still operating grinder in hands. not a good outcome.

10 days of foot up. 4 down, 6 to go. Bored shitless. Tried reading, no fun. Am now Joan Mir in Moto GP game, thats fun. Doc said just a few mill further and id be doing same for 3 months. Lucky i guess.
