Well the Garmin works so I'll get rid of the tomtom at some point. The routes copied straight on exactly as they should which was a relief after the silly amounts of time wasted trying to get this sorted.

The problem Tyre doesn't work with all Tomtoms, yet that wasn't clearly explained anywhere I looked until I had a model number to google for. The tomtom I've got works as a basic satnav but can't use the files Tyre copies to it.

Glad you got it sorted Hooli - I have a Rider2 which does well.

I expect to collect a LHD coating during the next couple of weeks, that'll really confuse plod.

The other option and much cheaper is to ride on the white line in the middle of the road and just dodge the traffic coming the other way .

I visited my sailing mate from one ship. 28 to 32°C and 835 km during one day. Enough for me.
We visited also in local dynoshop and saw GSX 1400 turbo developing 230 rwhp from standard, unopened engine.

Only 10 psi with a big turbo and big intercooler!
