Still racking up the kms, albeit not at the previous rate. 5 other bikes and no more commuting will do that! Saw 330k kms on the old girl last week on the way up to Warwick QLD for the Historic racing - great few days. Now has a couple more kms after a 4000km round trip.
I plan on living forever - so far, so good!

Awesome achievement, pretty sure you have the highest mileage one.  Here's what AI says about it, even the forum gets a mention in there . . .

That's huge Black. Most I've heard of. Many faults?

Hooli

Impressive! I stopped competing at 186k miles after mine was stolen. It's back now but an utter mess and won't be on the road for ages.

Pushing 50k miles on the Bloo Thing, so not even close there.

Eric GSX1400K3

Awesome numbers.  Currently at 54k on the GSX1400.  The Bavarian Mistress is at 111200km and going strong
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

GSXKING

That is huge mileage and a passed member Don had done that twice during his riding career after he wrote off the first one.
Don was an avid wildlife photographer and took his gear where ever he rode.

Have you owned your bike from new mate ?

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

@Kiwicol - Well, AI is partly correct - I am pretty anal about oil/filter changes every 5000kms, but the bike was my commuter for many years - 500kms/week running 50kms into Melbourne CBD, 40/50/60/70/80 km/h roads with 17kms freeway each way. It has also done quite a few long runs - QLD, Northern NSW, Tassie, Vic/NSW high country etc.

@Grog - Since the last post at 300k kms, nothing of mention other than usual service parts. Valve clearances checked and a new cam cover gasket fitted after 300k kms - still within spec! Previously only a new stator when the wires detached/burnt - new reg/rec also fitted at that time for peace of mind. Interestingly, I haven't had many of the apparently common faults - TPS, oil cooler etc. Fuel pump/HP filter changed - probably didn't need a pump. Shocks have been rebuilt, forks several times. A few clutch switches over the years but clutch is original. Head stem bearings, swing arm bearings, wheel and sprocket carrier bearings, brake discs and pads of course. Brake clutch master/slave seals, chains/sprockets etc.

@GSXKING - Yes mate - had it since new in 2008 so just turned 18 years old. Haven't seen you since the Wauchope run a few years ago - another Bathurst run would be great!

A photo from Morgan Park Raceway parked next to another 14. Another post trip grubbiness. And one from today. It's been a great bike!

Pic 2 is gonna make @Hooli all misty eyed and nostalgic. Nothing like a bit of stealth coating . . . :rofl2:
