New carpets throughout the house, 4 beds, theatre room and study done.  The new carpet isn't the issue, its moving all the furniture out and back again.  Place looks like a hoarders lair right now, little rabbit tunnels to get to stuff.  Should all be back to normal after the weekend.... (here's hoping)

Just ordered £250 of brake parts for classic bikes from Yambits in UK, maybe it will stop me spending.
Could have saved on shipping as the missus will be flying into Oz in about 6 weeks time but she needs that 30kgs of luggage for other stuff apparently.

Some people can be really, selfish at times.

Went to the local bike shop this morning.

I knew it was going to be a painful experience for my wallet, I have a few things I've got behind on.

2 bikes are due a dealer service.
2 bikes both need a new pair of S23's.
1 bike needs a new chain and sprockets.

......... so I bought some Bark Buster hand guards for the DRZ, I could easily live without them, but they are pretty and all the cool kids have them... 


I did book the DRZ in for some work in 3 weeks time.

My Shark helmet required a new visor .. I priced them and just about fell over ..$90 ! So instead I bought a new Helmet RJay's for $150

I then looked on eBay and found visors to suit my helmet for .... Wait for it ...

$1.50 !!!!!

Plus a handling charge of $1.41 !!!

Thinking this has got to be a scam or stuff up .. I ordered one and paid ..  a week later it is delivered, packaged perfectly and fits the helmet better than the original ... still find it hard to believe ..

you sure its polycarbonate and not something like spun sugar?  first bug splatter will tell you.

That was a thought, but it feels and looks no different to the original, 
I wear sunglasses or flip the tint screen down when riding ... I'll report back when a stone hits it.

Micky, youll be fine. Ive been using chinese visors over 5 years,havent had a problem.

Not a visor, but a fairing screen, so still after market plastic.

I ordered two.

One was from a large UK supplier I've used before. Not cheap.

One was from Amazon or Wish or similar, ridiculously cheap.

The quality and fit is absolutely identical, both the same at speed, both have had over a years use and neither has scratched or faded significantly. Really happy with both.

Unless I dig out the paperwork I could even tell you which one was the cheap one, even though there was a really significant cost difference.

No $1.50 visors for me - can't find any cheaper than $75 then another $60 for the pinlock inner. Bugger!

Cant find real cheap visors but pinlock insert is $25 aliexpress.They have visors for lots but just couldnt see yours.
