Here the water company dig up the road, replace pipes and resurface the road.  Week after Gas company comes and digs up the same bit of road to repair pipes and then they resurface the road.  Week later phone company comes along and does the same thing before the Electricity chaps turn up after another week.  We could have our road dug up a number of times and taking 2 months to finally fuck off to the next village, still they'll be back soon to start on another bit of road.

In NZ we love a road cone and traffic management festival. They can run for weeks on end.

If it's like the UK I'm convinced they own way too many cones & it's cheaper to store them on the road than pay for warehouse space.

Mick, just got rates bill, i applied for pensioner discount, back dated it, now $280 in credit. First and last time im guessing😎

No government discount for anything here. If anyone dares to ask I am sure they raise taxes more. Politians' thoughts will be: Shite, everything is getting so expensive - lets raise my pay and add a bonus (or 2) as well.

A Brisbane member off here had a ride out to see me and bought me some gifts, like me his 14 is off the road at the moment but at least he's still brand loyal.

He said to take it for a spin but I'll wait untill we have more time and do a ride out somewhere and he can try one of mine.
