A new heading, along the lines of what did you buy today. Today i saw a black n red, looked as new. Dont know its model, saw at traffic lights in town i work. It was turbo charged. Made my day. If youre on this site Mate, love to hear your story. Nice bike.

A guy riding an electric scooter - so what? I hear you say.......well, this bloke was riding it down the road (as opposed to a cycle lane or footpath), and due to the traffic flow in the area, i was able to `tuck in` behind him for half-mile or so, and i clocked him doing a sustained 23/4mph (GPS), FFS! Impressive or what!!! The thing even had a small rear light beneath the footplate either side of the rear wheel.

A mate just happens to have one gathering dust in his garage, and having ridden it in his garden last summer, i must admit to it being great fun, and i want one, though i do admit that the copious ammount of `San Miguel` consumed beforehand may have swayed my judgement a little on the day!!

However, they surely aren`t road legal in the UK are they? Even if they were, i can only imagine the carnage following the front wheel dissapearing down the first pothole at 24mph dressed in nothing more than a pair flip-flops, shorts and a T-shirt........

The worlds gone bonkers !

Saw my Postie turn up with my new Tyres that I ordered just on a month ago

Big Phil

I saw the Royal Mail postman today who said hello as he dropped off my new LED indicators and Flasher unit. Really nice guy, especially as he comes bringing gifts🤗😍🤗😍

Today i saw a P Plater, 80 zone, reckon he was going 140 or so. Weaving between cars, dual lane, missing by not much. I wonder if he'll  last long enough to get his open licence. Those ones sure annoy me.

Yesterday i saw a beautiful blue n white K7 in Caloundra, polished rims and cardboard box strapped on seat. Today was a black n red, very nice. Most 14 ive seen here for ages. On here fellas?

Reading second post, I remind I see this summer...

Guy riding on bicycle.
Quite fast.
Among pedestrians.
Talking cellphone.
OK, this happens from time to time, but...

I assume, he was deaf, cause he "talk" video call, holding phone in one hand, while communicating with another...

Globalrider

All the debris from the cedars and firs on the drive and basketball court - Blower dead so what did I see??? ... Lots of pushing a broom!
I need to go somewhere I've not been but won't know until I get there!

Today at bike shop ordering tyre, they had two beauties sitting there. 450 Ducati Shotgun and R90s BMW in smoke grey. Made my day.

I've ridden both of those, the 450 around Mac Park in Mt Gambier and the R 90s on the snowie Mountains Highway, cool bikes

R90S, only BMW ive ever wanted to own. Loved that black/silver colour. 1975 had my old XS650 painted same.

To be honest, I got off my Darmah onto it and it was chuffy comparatively, I thought it had a burnt valve but was assured that that was how they were, not for me

You were getting off one of the worlds best, amazing bikes Darmah. Mine for 15 years, why i sold. No idea.

Onwards and upwards can sometimes go a little backwards in hindsight
