Today just a 100k run under cloudy sky, just on 29 degree C, super humid. Whole body/ head just sweats😓 Totally enjoyable moving, not so in traffic. Hard to wear proper gear in Summer, i do. Anyway, was all good. 👍

Just a quick breakfast run. 100k / 65 miles "ish".

Took the Gen-2, it was bought as a project for the drags, but I'm enjoying it as a road bike. The last of the low-tech no-tech big Suzuki's like the GSX14 and B-King. Not even ABS.

Heaps of newer modern bikes out perform it and do stuff better, but like the GSX14 and B-King it still has a charm of its own.

Im still collecting parts so when it does come to bits it'll get done as a package, pipe, stacks, flash, bin the PC111 etc, but for now it still gets around OK. The Gen-2 was the most powerful of the 3 Gen's and the early Gen-2's a fraction lighter without the ABS grubbins.

It's not a brilliant jaw dropping bike, but one I'm always happy to own and ride.

Wouldn't take me long to do. I have a couple of sets of black B-King / Gen-2 Busa wheels. The gold ones on it are some spare black 08 B-King wheels I had painted. The black ones I removed are sat with discs fitted, but sadly they have Angel GT2 tyres.

More wheels than i have shirts😂Looks good in black. Out of interest, GT2, what is the actual problem with them? Ive had original Angels over 10 yrs, maybe on 3rd set, obviously are good for me. I didnt like the tread pattern on new ones. Rode MT10 with them, never noticed much but was too busy being careful on Mates hotted up bike, bloody quick compared to my old girl.

They are a lot more Touring than Sports which suits some folk but my bikes are for fun. I really dislike the feel from the double grove front. They don't suit me or the bike.
Angel GT's get good reviews and feedback. Folk I chat with in the US can't even get the GT2's now, taken off sale, folk are told to buy the earlier GT.

Like the S22's and S23's, they were running the GT's and GT2's side by side, not a replacement, the GT2's have got a fair amount of negative feedback.

Some touring tyres are still OK when pushed a bit harder and the pace is turned up. I don't think so of the GT2's.

No good if they feel funny, would put me off. When i had Diavel, Rossos on it, Angels on 14, i felt comfortable on both bikes, both over gripped for me, never a concern. Next on 14 will be something super grippy, dont do ks anymore to worry about lifespan. Choices??

Grog try some Mitchy Road 6 tyres. I followed GSXKING on 'BLOSSOM' his rented BMW1200RT with those fitted from Invercargill to Te Anau. It was pissing with rain and windy. I was impressed with the amount of water that tyre displaced. Do you have rain in Queensland ??
You know I use them so I am biased.  No recalls either !!
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Thought it was about time I removed the stealth coating, so out with some hot soapy water & the water blaster. Wash, water blast off, & dry with the air hose. Then a bit of shine on the blue bits. Still looks good for it's age I reckon.

Obviously, if Suzuki fit a new master cylinder to my bike I need to take a day off to test it...

Would be rude not to...how else can you know it works properly?! :whistling:

How did you manage to get a day off from retirement? That's unheard of...
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.
