Mongrel job without them.As a not that often job, bought off Temu, took the chance for $6 including postage not the $50 from the local tool shop. Anyway, look ok to me, will do the job.

Nice to have. For that price a no-brainer. Unless I stumple over one that cheap my finger will do it nicely.

Hi Grog.
I'm looking for this kind of pliers for some time, without luck. Would you have some sort of reference/model name  and/or number?

KiwiCol

google "Temu"  go into their site & search for "quick connector fuel hose pliers"  it brings up the ones Grog got & heaps of other ones too.

I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Mick_J

I bought one of them before Eric, didn't think much of it.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

yep, I'm not much into soldering either, but this one at 100W i can also use to heat up and remove loctited bolts, which bmw seem very fond of, so it does serve another purpose.

Eric, butane torch for your bolts 👍Much easier than rooting around with soldering iron. Cheap as and refill cans also cheap.Surprising how much you use once youve got one.

yeah, got one of those too, issue is the bolts I need to undo are in the roof rails of my car, and i don't want to damage the paintwork by using a butane torch.

I know at least one garage I use can't get insurance for blow torches etc. No naked flames are allowed, so no oxyacetylene on stuck bolts etc. They've got a hoofing great inductor, it's two clamps that pass a massive electric current & heat things that way.

Eric GSX1400K3

Almost tempted to make my own inductor by setting up 2 x 12v car batteries in series to generate 24V, some jumper leads and a piece of solid copper rod.

Will try the soldering iron option first...

Tony Nitrous

A GSX14 tail. Came with some other stuff and was dirt cheap. I do like having spare plastics, wheels etc.

Well done Tony, $1000 new painted.
