We don't need to store water in Ireland.

One piece summer base layer, should make it easier to peel off the leather trousers when I'm a bit sweaty Betty.  And no it doesn't have a button up but flap  :rofl2:

I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Haven't used my compressor in quite a while. I'm a bit cautious.

I've seen old ones that didn't get the moisture drained from the tanks regularly and it's not unknown for them to let go one day... KAAABOOOOM!  It's nasty when it happens. Mine is old and I've been a bit slack draining it. If I start using one again I might look at getting a new one.  Mine wasn't really big enough to keep up with my air-wrench or air chisel for long.  Handy things if you have a good one although 18v tools have taken some of their work off them.

Not knocking home compressor's, I have one and I like them, but it pays to be careful.

Yeah, plenty of places here would get more than that, I think Bris gets something like 1200mm although 2022 was a lot higher , but ours is less dragged out. We are more wild storms then drought. Living in the UK I never saw the intense rainfall we get here in storm season, but plenty of drawn out wet days.

We get plenty of rain here, just not always when we need it. Hence the tanks.

Qld,  95% of the time lovely... the other 5% on fire or underwater !

Thanks Tony, mine gets used regularly and I always drain after the days jobs are done, leave the drain valve open so it can dry out.

We know how to harness it without flooding the city.

4 more 8 foot star pickets and some tie wire.
Did a bit more to my hen pen build.

Recently... a gate, another post, 2 more 8 foot star pickets and a few bags of rapid set.

That's all the posts, gates, star pickets and the lower weld-mesh sunk into the ground. Just need a couple of strainer wires and two runs of chicken mesh and the hen pen is finished.

15m x 15m x 2.1m.  Should keep the hens in, and hopefully the fox's, wild dogs and dingo's out.

Might look at getting a net top. Friend here was lost a couple to hawks and I get them here, and 3 Wedge Tail Eagles recently.

Yep get a net mate. A mate nearly lost his Jack Russel to an eagle.

I thought about making it mouse / snake proof, it's do-able but was going to be a lot of work and real expensive.

I don't get many pythons here, just Red Belly's and Eastern Browns. I'll try and make their coop secure and mouse proof, and not leave food or eggs around.

More concerned about the wild dogs, Dingo's and Fox's (and the birds of pray).

My eggs come in a box, they are even free range.
