each to their own Phill, if someone doesn't like my modified bike I don't care but their are plenty that do  :onya:

Totally agree, when a random person comes up and says nice bike mate, you know it pleases some.

problem is when people crowd round your bike you can't get your helmet on

Not all mods, it's just that most make them look like a tart's handbag.

My pet hate is tail tidys though. One thing I like about 14s is you get a complete bike, I hate the modern look where the designer forgot the last 12" of bodywork.

I agree with you, and I disagree.
I think we have spoken about modern bikes before, old/new  katana for instance, it's a modern trend to make the tailpiece extremely short, new rocket 3 and others with a lump of plastic shooting out horizontal from the bike, total afterthought.
For me the gsx naturally ends at the white tailpiece/back light, the black mudguard for me detracts from the fine lines of the bike.
Thankfully we all like different things, and I like a modded GSX1400

Mines cut off Phil, she looks ok to me.

It looks good, I like your seat.
Mines also cut down, but not that well, hence it will get an undertray and tail tidy

Yup that's nice, right up my street, similar to my old xjr in black.
How do the standard indicators hold up with the number plate bracket.

I cut away as much of the plastic mudguard as I could that was showing, it then leaves the toolkit section sticking down a bit, indicators are bolted to that bit and I can still get the toolkit in its place. I had a numberplate bracket lying around that I just drilled and bolted to the mudguard.  :onya:
