I`m Geoff from West Sussex. I wasnt looking for a GSX1400 I was actually looking for a GS1000 to go with my other classics of which there are too many. I gave up looking and suddenly started looking at more modern Suzukis. Bought this 2001 K2 a few weeks back with just 2800 miles on it. I plan to use it as regularly as possible and today a nice parcel arrived from Blue Flame. I love the styling and it`s a cracking bike to ride.

The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

To all things 1402
Not a gs but the gsx1400 is the modern-day version and even the newest ones are 12 years old with the first ones now 18 years old .
These are a classic of the future .
Enjoy the site and feel free to join in at any point.
only a slightly modified gsx1400
oh and a standard one too

Hi Geoff & welcome to the forum.  That is a rare find for sure.  I'm sure there are many who'd appreciate some pic's of your collection of classics if you get round to it.   :onya:

Of course @Big Phil
Thanks they had been around a bit when I got my k2 in December 2002 .
Stand corrected it won't be the first time I've been wrong .
I'm not sure if they were first available in Japan only in 2000 .But I'm sure someone will know .

Thanks for the welcome all, need to get the cans on still in the box arrived today !

Big Phil

Still can't bring myself to swap my standard cans. I toy with it almost daily but every time I look at the old girl I just can't see her without them. So few 14's owners keep them but I understand they are too quiet. I've bought a pair of pretty much mint originals which I intended to remove the baffles from. However I've  now heard too many stories of how ball achingly difficult it is to modify so I'm keeping them as spares.

Latest non standard cans to catch my attention are the Pipe Worx ones. May put them on my Xmas list🤔
