Been a while since this topic. Yesterday saw a bloke on GS BMW filtering, knocked mirror off car in rh lane with his handguard. No stopping just zoomed away😡😡👎

Hooli

Must have been late to Costa on his Wank Panzer.

GSXKING

I was at Wulkuraka early this morning and saw a Blue GSX with a sidecar and a trailer which was surprisingly loaded down. The rider appears to be an older gentleman. If you're on here give us a shout out and post a pic please 🙏.

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Think I saw the same one in Port Douglas. Had a chat with him and he had drove it from Perth to Port Douglas. Told him about the forum and he was going to look into it. Next plan he had was to make a high sleeper of the sidecar, he was tired of putting up the tent every time.

GSXKING

I'm fairly sure the one I saw has solid blue tank, however it was a cursory glance as he passed.

I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Out this morning with the local "Motor Enthusiasts" group. A funny bunch, very cool and very open minded, they just like stuff with motors! A monthly meet with a coffee van and bacon and eggs on the BBQ.

Today we had locals with a Farrari, a few Jags, a few MG's, a Unimog truck, a model T-Ford, an F series Ute, a Rolls Royce, a Javlin and a real mix of others. Only 4 or 5 bikes but I did park next to a quite nice GT500 again. Funny seeing a truck, a Farrari, a Yam XV250 bobber, a B-King and a Model T roll in together. One of the MG owners has a very early build Hayabusa and another guy has 3 CB750 Automatics.
I love their thinking.

The B-King looks an absolute brute next to the T500.   :onya:       (cos it is I guess)
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

It might well be but I would rather ride away on the 500.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

I'd love a GT500, it'd be a bit of fun to go to coffee and cars, just like my 44 year old GSX1100, but they are very dated now and aren't what I enjoy. I've had GT250's and a Super-Six, I've moved on.
Bit like all the folk on GSX14's and not old GS750's.

Not today, but last week.

A brand new in the crate GSXR750.
Obviously a few years old (I think only the US still gets new recent built ones).  It was a registered a while back by a dealership so it can be road ridden despite not meeting current ADR specs.  No idea on value but I couldn't find another one.

Me too. A GT550 would be preferred though.  Add a Honda CB550 too. :smitten:

I got back into riding in 2013, last had a Honda four in 79. So I got the nostalgia bug in 2013 and bought a basket case Honda Four K2. By the time I had it all up n running it had cost me $25 Gs and I did it all myself except for machining the bores. Then I bought a 76 Z900 and put 10Gs into that. Not long after I got a 2006 1250 Bandit and that's when I realised the old bikes had nuthin'
Old clunkers they are to me. After riding more modern bikes how the hell can you want to ride an old clunker ever. That's just me though. My 1402 cost me 6 Gs, the ZX cost me 6.5Gs. I see all these guys on the Honda cb750 forum spending shit loads of dough tryin to get those jokes to go a "bit" faster. I just shake my head.
Here're pics of the money pit clunkers. While they look great my ZX14 is light years better and that's a 2007 bike. If only I could afford a new one.

They do look immaculate Nic, fabulous resto on them.  Shame it cost so much to do though, would you be able to recover your costs ya reckon?
