I've got leds on mine currently so i assume i wont need a new relay.
(out of interest where is the relay located on the bike?)

I reckon I'll grab a set too.

Relay as shown in photo. Behind L/H side panel :onya:
If you already have LED indicators and if they flash at the correct rate, you wont need to change the relay unless yours have been wired in with resistors. If they do have resistors, which incidentally I tried on mine and they didn't work..Rip the lot out, replace indicators for the new ones and fit the flasher relay. It's much neater and less likely to play up.
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

The resistors if fitted can get very hot and melt plastic - as Froudy says rip them out and fit led relay  :)

Really liked the look of these Tally so thanks for posting. Ordered a set with the DTR and brake light function off Amazon and a relay off eBay. Can't really go wrong for £22 all in 🤗🤗🤗

Hi Guy's, Indicators arrived along with a LED flasher relay (£8.90 off eBay) which I have already fitted and works fine with the OEM indicators. However, before I begin slicing, soldering and fiddling around with the new indicators can some one put a couple of pictures on to show how they connected the leads from the new or similar indicators into the 14's wiring please. I have no problem with how to wire them into the circuit electrically but would like to see how the physical connections have been made.

All help much appreciated as always.

Thanks
Phil

Thanks Notty🤗 I was sure there would be a simple solution to me hacking about. Top stuff mate👍👏👏👏

Got them on order Notty and again thanks ever so much as you saved me cutting and splicing the cables which is always best avoided. This is an awesome forum🤗🤗🤗

@Notty  are those just for standard indicators though?

The indicators purchased by @Big Phil - for full function - require connection to the indicator & brake circuits (rear) and indicator & driving light/headlight circuits (front)

Vlad, the brake light version are easy to fit and work great. I got the adapters as posted earlier on this topic which allowed for the two standard indicator leads be fitted without any modifications. For the rear ones I made an extra lead up with 2 female bullet connectors and one extra wire coming off that. The two brake light leads from the indicators were then connected together via the bullet connectors and then the extra wire was pushed into the back of the brake light +ve connection. I did add solder to the end of the brake light lead I made so it was a thick and solid wire that pushed in tight. I did exactly the same idea at the front joining the two day time running wires together and attaching those to the side light bulb connector. Mines a K2 so the indicators only run when the lights are turned on but of course the indicators work on the ignition as do the brake lights. They look and work great and are very bright but are a little flimsy so care is needed not to over tighten them.

@Notty
Thanks too for recommending those adaptor leads, i have the same clear rear light lens unit as pictured by @Eric GSX1400K3 but with built in LED indicators.
I was reluctant to cut and splice into the original wiring so kept with the OEM rear indicators for the time being, but now i can remove those as soon as the LED compatible flasher unit arrives, thanks also @Hooli
