I will get some pics on here later today Vlad.

Hi Vlad, Here's what I finally ended up doing at the rear. First off wired the indicators using the adaptors which is obviously very simple and just leaves the red wires to deal with. I removed the female bullet connector from the left hand indicator red wire and soldered it to a male bullet connector. I also soldered an additional wire to this connector (black as I didn't have any suitable red wire). On the other end of the black wire I soldered another male bullet connector to it. This then connects straight into the right hand indicator Red wire female connector.

The other bullet connector which has both the red and black wires connected to it pushes into the back of the large spade type connector from the rear brake light (black/white wire). It pushes in nice and tight to make a good electrical contact but can be pulled out again without too much effort.

The front is the same idea but the red wires connect to the positive of the front light connector.

Hope this helps.

Bugger I'm not very good at this😂 The last photo is of the indicators with the brake light on so you can see they are very bright and will definitely help you get noticed when braking.

Must order. keep forgetting. Mate at work reckons, best thing you can do, get rid of those terrible stock indicators, have never worried me, just indicators. I do like those in pic. They waterfall, not flash?

I did these on mine day time running lights in blue of course faster lol for a fast bike   :stir: And indicator as well great in the day and very bright at night they came in red white blue and cost me £30 for the four of eBay China
look check and look again  then you see the fool

Thanks M, Kinstecks are $15 on Amazon. New version.

Big Phil

The Kinstecks are waterfall and the new versions have the day time running lights at the front and brake light function at the rear. As said earlier they are solid enough but don't over tighten them. Hand tight then just a turn with a spanner.

 Ok can i play?    You show me yours and i'll show you mine!  :grin:

I managed to remove the rear indicators today and connect up the in built indicators, after receiving the new cable connectors and LED flasher unit.

Before.

After.

Flash eh?   :rolleyes:

@Big Phil
Did you spot the larger diameter exhaust tubes?  :smile2:

Big Phil

Looking good Milts I really like that very cool. Can you fit both your clear lens and the kinstecks indicators together I wonder? Do you have a link or info on the lens you fitted? I think I'm going for the full monty🤗

Oh and yes absolutely noticed the the big guns in the photo Milts😍 As I have said before on this forum they are one of the reasons I was drawn to my beloved K2. They look awesome and are in my opinion way more handsome than any other after market cans you can get bar the 4 in to 6 Campbell's which I also like very much. It's only the lack of sound that's missing. I have actually purchased another pair of relatively cheap OEM's off EBay to remove the baffles. They have only covered 3k miles and they cleaned up so well they are almost like new again, no scratches or dents. I'm so pleased with how well they polished up I can't quite bring myself to hack them about yet😂😂😂

 @Big Phil

I bought my rear lens off ebay awhile ago but can't remember the seller,  but if you enter a search into ebay various types do come up.
I'm sorry i wouldn't know if it's possible to incorporate kinestecks with the inbuilt indicators, but i'm sure someone will know.  :onya:

@Milts

Although those rear light units do look good they will not only fail a UK MOT, but they are also illegal and dangerous if anyone is following you. When braking and indicating at the same time the brighntness of the brake light blocks out the indicator...I know because I've followed one and nearly hit him up the arse.
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

Big Phil

Thanks Froudy! I certainly didn't know that👍

Hooli

I can confirm they are crap to follow & can't be seen too.
