GSXKING

Did a lone wolf ride on Sunday on the GSX.
I headed over Mt.Glorious from the Gap to the T. Then back to the cafe and spotted a mint Black (non-coloured) GSX, owned by a chap who lives at Narangba and commutes to Murrarie, his first road bike 🧐.
He's a big unit 6' 3" 120kg makes the bike look small.
He said he was familiar with the Faceache site. And knew of Org group.
Hopefully he looks us up and joins us.

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Well as a first road bike, it was sensible to buy one of the slower colours  :stir:

My regular coffee / breakfast loop.

I've just about got them trained. When I pull up they know my coffee and breakfast order and where I'll be sitting. Cafes come and go around here so I have to train a new one every year or so. This one is pretty good. Only 93k's (58 miles each way) so I use it pretty regularly.

Just went to Bridgnorth, to pick-up a few essentials, refuel the XSR9 and breakfast at Poolhall.

Blue skies, bright sunshine and an almost tropical 5 degree.  :boogie:  :clapping:  :onya:

Overdue a service.
Overdue some new tyres.

Let's not let common sense get in the way of getting another ride in.

DRZ is getting its first service and a change of gearing on Friday.
I'll order some new tyres and book the Busa in for a service while I'm there.

25 degrees C, cloudy but dry,  202 K's /  125 mile round trip for breakfast.

I don't know whether you've seen it or not , on the internet Suzuki are unveiling the new busa 2026 special edition, as you're a busa man I thought I'd let you know. :onya:

I have a few on various vehicles. They are cheap enough out here. Just some harmless fun, my Mrs hates personal plates though.

I only use ones that are appropriate to the vehicle, I leave them on if I sell.

Of all the dumb things I do and the things I waste money on they aren't a big deal, although there's always a few haters.

The blue / white 2026 "Special Edition" has been out a little while. Moore Mafia and a few others are already modding and racing them.

The paint has divided a few folk, I like it, others hate it.

I wouldn't mind one, but like the bright orange Anniversary Edition it's almost all a cosmetic exercise.

Since 2022 there have been some minor changes like the cruise control not dropping out from using the quick shifter, but the later bikes now have extra cat sniffers to meet 5+ and reputable reports are that they have worse factory mapping too.

2026 "Special"

2024 "Anniversary"

My Gen-3 was an early Gen-3 so came with the promotional extras the later bikes lack. Billet chain adjusters, billet levers, billet oil cap. Front crash bungs etc etc. All anodised gold to match so wouldn't suit a later colour either.

I like the B&W 2026 special paint scheme, could do with a touch of red
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

When I got home I did a bit of work putting the front fairing back on the ZZR1200 ..

Love both of those! Quite different but appreciate both for what they are.

First "running in" 1000K service done on the DRZ.
Standard E 14/47 gearing changed to S 15/44 gearing.
Busa booked in for its next service and its next set of tyres.
When the Busa is done I'll book in either the Gen-2 or B-King.
