Id like to try that Barmy. Best car brakes ive tried, little AMG 180, best bike Diavel. Theres prob a lot better but both were good. The worst, too many to mention. Maybe mid 70s Landrover the worst.

Bought a pair of these, wanted some for quite a while, just hope they will work properly on a suspended floor.

Especially when they were built in your own neck of the woods.

mjgt, what brand are they, look so good. My AR12 ive had for 45 years, many tweeters later, bass been re foamed, still take over 100 watts, loud and perfect. Also have a pair of Tannoy, also great, one of each either side of tv, so good. On my third Pioneer huge Amp after two great Rotel. Our lightning storms, power surges, no, surge protectors dont work, surges just blow amps. Anyway, sounds unreal. Watched Neil Young, Rust Never Sleeps Concert last week, Very loud, very good. Also Talking Heads concert, no cost is too much for good speakers, went to bed feeling so good after both videos.

They are Linn Isobariks manufactured in Glasgow.  In the 80's and 90's these were THE speakers to have if you had all Naim electronics, they were the ones I really wanted when I started to build my HiFi system but they do need good powerful amps (Nap 250 or Nap 135's) to work at their best and I only had the small Naim Nap 110 amp at the time.  Over the years my system has improved and got bigger (more expensive) and I now find I really need a speaker that sits close to the rear wall (my dog is a fucking nutter) as I don't want my current speakers to go flying across the room.  I have been looking for a while but nothing suitable came up until now so I pick them up today and will spend the next day or two setting everything up.

Do you have a Sondek in with that setup, my mate had one back in the day I only got as far as a Rega Planer 3, I still have it.

Got some new RST textile GT model pants that zip to my jacket. No draughts, my old pants had done their dash, any rain just went straight through and now l do them up.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

I was looking at new jacket & pants yesterday, I saw the prices & kept going - out the door!    Mine will last a bit more yet . . .
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Hooli

I got some new to me textiles off ebay the other week, yeah they've seen some use but they fit & are waterproof unlike my old set. £58 delivered, so can't complain at all.

Only thing I'd like to do is find some back armour for the jacket, but googling AXO AV02 jacket isn't helping much. I've got a back protector I wear under it, but I'd prefer it in the jacket if I could find some.

Way to go Hooli. So much good used stuff, hardly used mostly. My latest jacket was $60, totally perfect, cost him $600. He had full rain suit, 3 pair of armoured jeans, all my size and nice pair gloves, Wanted $100 the lot. All as new. I just didnt need them. He even rang back few days later, gave me a can of scotchguard waterproof spray. I can understand, i gave away recently, $800 Shoei helmet, i never liked it but new owner loves it. I made a mistake buying it but felt good giving it. There sure are bargains out there.
