Today still cleaning out my shed. Car parts that have been sitting 30 yrs.Just small stuff, points, plugs, tie rod ends, gaskets etc etc. Bolts, nuts, nails, most of it has a Mud Wasp nest attached, mongrel things we get here. Shed looking bigger, much more bench space.

Saw the New Year in yesterday with a spin on the Busa.
Spec sheets say the torque is down a fraction on the previous model but you'd never know, it's feels easily as strong and real keen and smooth even compared to the 14 which is my IL4 torque benchmark bike. Busa has more torque but 2k revs higher.

Did a few jobs on the Fergie.
Now looking for a flail mower / slasher and some front weights (once I get the 4 filters for the service).  I can see why there are so many restored ones, so many brand new bits available and cheap.

Your Fergy looks the goods. So handy on a block of land.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

I don't mind mowing with the ride on, it's good therapy, but being realistic it's a bit big for a lawn mower. Long term I'll have 3 or 4 cattle but at least with the Fergie I won't need to mow it quite as often so it doesn't choke the lawn mower if it's a bit tall.

45 gallon barrel of concrete will do the trick!

Yeah, done it for the rear using a loader. Stand a pipe up in a drum and fill it. Pipe gives you somewhere to put a bar through for the lift arms. Never done a front as the mounting points aren't as simple but I'm sure it's do able.

Today back to work, our roads covered with cars, like an ant invasion. Our place is perfect holiday location, perfect weather, always expected. Bought new vac brake bleeder, old one past it. $30 Chinese, its quality as good as any. Snap On similar is around $200. Workshop floor been re painted over Xmas break. Ground down, paint 2 coats, then top coat of some super hard stuff. Lookin good. 10 g exercise.

You got water in the tyres Tony ??

No, not at the moment.
I've done it before but my model of 135 doesn't have power steering so at least with weight I can easily remove them when not needed. I'm not ruling it out but it's not my number one choice.

Today...

# 2 x New Diesel cans.

# Top link was a perfect fit... once I realised I needed a Cat-1 version.

# New steering wheel took a lot of "encouragement" but I doubt the old one had been off and had 48 years in the rain and sun.

# Two fuel filters went on easy enough.  Then the problem started. Bleed at the filters, pump fuel through manually, bleed at both points on the pump, pump fuel through manually, bleed at the injectors, pump fuel through manually, nothing. Obviously air in the system but I couldn't find it. Put the battery charger on it, manually pumped fuel, span it's over for ages, bled at several point, wouldn't fire. Kept doing the same, not sure where it was, but it eventually fired up. Runs fine, no fuel leaks or issues. Can't work out where the air was but fark! ... I won't be running low on fuel... 😆.

# Greased the front steering and rear lift arms grease nipples.

Still need to do the air filter, oil change and oil filter.
