Today, winter jacket back in wardrobe, much prefer Summer one. First ride with new 5 gloves. All Good.

Lol Grog..
Just put my winter liner in my RST Jacket..
You Aussies are so lucky to be aproaching your good weather.

I got new tyres fitted on my Hornet today, ready for winter. Turns out the rear it had was the wrong size, correct size now fitted & so far it feels more stable in bends.
Avons have gone on to replace Bridgestones so I'm expecting them to feel better and last a lot longer too.

It's a bit of a mixed bag. It's not like the UK.
Summers here can be very hot and it's our wet season.
Winters can be cool and dry.
I don't really have a riding season, both Summer and Winter have extremes that aren't great, both have really nice riding days.

Bobbie volunteered to stay home yesterday & mow the jungle whilst I was out riding with my mates (keeps me sane she reckons).
So today she's out & about 💰💰
I've edged & trimmed every overgrown thing in the garden, I cannot tell the difference between a weed or a flower so my plan is Armageddon so the yards look clean 👍
P.S. I bought cheap arse snipper rope & I used about 10 refills of the head at 4 metres a time 🤯
Finished, now having a cuppa then going grocery shopping YIPPEE 😣😣😣

GSX, good snipper cord a must, saves so much time/ frustration. Husqvarna Titanium Force the best, lasts better than any others ive tried.

Washed both the GSX1400 and my K1300GT.  The 1400 was my ride to work recently.  Scrubbed up nice.  My mate then brought his BMW nine-T around, had been having starting trouble.  Put in an SSB lithium battery, new air filter and we removed the dB killers from his Akrapovic exhausts.  Typically BMW, half the bike gets stripped down to access everything, but got it done.  Sounds and runs much better.  Then took the good lady wife out for lunch on the K1300GT.  Good day all round.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Snapey

Such a beautiful day in Sydney today after all the rain we've had I thought I'd better not waste it but it was a toss up whether I ride or drive. A couple of mates were heading south in their clubbies so driving won on the day. Lunch at Coledale RSL but a stop on the way at Bald Hill for a look at the 2 wheel scenery.
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

I replied to my insurance company to start the argument about why they can't rip me off with an offer of less than half my 14's value before it was stolen.

They've offered me £1,081, less my excess!

So I've replied as per my screen shot. I've included adverts for bikes up to 70k miles still going for £3.5k upwards, it'll be interesting to see their excuse for still trying to rob me next time.

Robbing barstewards :furious:
If you did do a post about having your bike stolen @Hooli , I missed it. Far too many bikes getting robbed at the moment. 12 that we heard about in Bristol just last week, and they're still at it :furious: :furious:
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

I did post something about it, back at the end of August.

Loads going here too & police are doing exactly nothing. Mine was being ridden around for a week & I kept telling them where it was seen, all they had to do was drive past & follow it ffs.

I'm sure it's a mixed bag, but it'd be interesting to know where they are going ?

Broken up used / sold as parts ?
New ID and sold on ?
Exported ?
Used for track days ?
Joy riders and dumped / burnt ?

Just up the road from you Chris, global cooling in Landsborough this morn, 8 degrees.

Last night actually, I swore a lot about thieving insurance companies again.

They won't budge from their offer of £1,131 for my 14. That's less than half it's market value when stolen, they are as bad as the scum who took it. Next step is a complaint to the company, the broker & the ombudsman. I don't really expect to get anywhere, but I can cost them more than they are ripping me off for if nothing else.
