Today decided to seal speed sensor on Wifes car. Just fitted into diff housing, looks above oil level, just unbolt and remove.  I did that, about 3 litres of oil on shop floor that the blokes had cleaned perfectly yesterday. Diff and trans share same oil i now know.An hour cleaning,30 bucks of ATF, fixed the leak.

I once helped a mate replace a camshaft in his car.. (Vauxhall Nova GTE)
I actually got there when he was half way through the job.
He started to refill the engine with oil (he was doing an oil and filter change at the same time)..
He kept checking the dipstick with no sign of the oil..
Then he said Oh %$"&!!
He had forgotten to refit the drain plug!
The air was also blue for quite a while!

Pre hoist I missed that the oil filter Oring stuck to the housing rather than coming off with the filter on my V8 Lexus,  6 or so Litres of Synthetic all over my garage floor

I wasn't there but heard second hand a young apprentice didn't tighten sump plug and on test ride it let go, not a pleasant experience by all reports. Needless to say he doesn't work there anymore
