I casually mentioned to the wife that I was watching a bike listed locally on Facebook and that I'd gone to work thinking about it, and it was sold by the time I got home and checked.

I committed myself to buying another bike of Ebay last week ............ the guy selling didn't know there background of what he had, someone :whistling:, went to look at the bike on the weekend (as posted on another forum), and I presume he told the seller what it was, even though he wasn't going to buy it.

Bike has since been pulled from Ebay  :furious:
$100.00 says it will be back, at twice the price.  :furious: :furious:
The initial attraction to motorcycling inflicts people for various reasons and at different stages in their lives. But once someone experiences the elation of riding a motorcycle there's no denying the nearly spiritual effect it has.

Pissed down in Wales as well so its British Weather, actually if you track the rain we have sent it over to you after we got it from Ireland - that is until after Brexit it will hopefully stop at the Irish border :)
The older I get the better I was

Nice, but wait until summer, sweaty arm pits Brisbane, you can have it.
I'm not coming back in a hurry so work that one out for yourself.  :)

Perfect for sitting at the Gabba in the sun with a beer, watching the Lions sneak home for a win.

40 years in the UK, 15 in Brisbane.
I've worked outdoors for the last 15 years here and love it!
I'm planning to move again when I finish this house but it sure as hell won't be back to the UK. Every time I visit I just feel sad and the way it's changed and at the prices!
We all have different wants and needs but I'd be gutted at having to live in the UK again.

I lived in Kidderminster until I was 40.
I came over as a skilled migrant.

I was actually about to move to Cyprus, I had a job lined up there, knew a few folk and it meant I could visit the UK and family more often.

I came to Australia in 2000 and loved it.
Came back in 01, 02 and 03 going serious research.
2004 I sold EVERYTHING, put my life in 2 suitcases and got on the plane.
Now have AU Citizenship, Passport and an Aussie wife.

If I hadn't moved to AU before I was 40 I wouldn't have got in.
Entry is on a points system and the older you are the less points you get,
but being young normally has less points for money and skills etc.
My theory was if it didn't work out I could always go back to Cyprus.
