Today was following a big coca cola delivery truck around huge double lane roundabout. I was in work ute. Poor bugger had forgot to shut lhs roll a door. Boxes, then boxes, then more boxes kept falling out. Coke cans, Powerade, water. What a mess. They explode well when you run over. Just so glad i wasnt on 14. Into the bush i reckon.

Gas Leak maybe ?

KiwiCol

Some poor bloke has admitted he was 'repairing' the gas system at that house 4 days prior.  Guess he didn't do a thorough a job as he thought he had. Just lucky nobody was killed, but I reckon they will all be suffering disabilities for the rest of their lives.

My first though was "Meth lab gone wrong".

Apparently it wasn't.

Maybe I've just lived in a Qld for too long !

I thought the same Tony, as did a fair few people I know.   Must be a sign of the time when we all assume the same thing - incorrectly.

Guilty....l thought meth lab too
Munta of an explosion.

Col, his biggest problem is that he didnt have a "Resourse Consent" to demolish the house
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

We had meth lab at the end of our street. Young bloke, cute little wife and two toddlers living in there, could have blown them and us to bits F'N retards.  :whatever: :whatever: :whatever:

When hazmat cops turned up was the only indication though

I changed the front tyre to my sons ER 5 Kawasaki.
Old tyre wasn't worn out yet, It has ~3.5 mm left, but it was badly cracked.
It was Michelin Pilot Power 110/70 ZR 17 M/C 54W, new 28.4.-16 (DOT 4914)
Tyre pressure 2.5 bar (36 psi) and riden 8000 km.
Now there is Angel City (DOT 4418).

KiwiCol

Owwww, that's ugly.  Lucky it was spotted before failure.  Only 5 years old, so it's not that.

I'm sure you are both glad you spotted that T24, before it caused a major disaster :onya:

GSXKING

@T24 is there some explanation as to the cracking at all ? Did you return it to manufacturer ?  :whatever: :whatever: :whatever:

I haven't returned yet, and I don't know the reason for those crackings. It shouldn't be SO old yet.
It has been kept in warm garage over winters..

Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

The cracks are most likely down to age if DOT is 2014. I replaced all four tyres on my wife's MX5 in 2016. The car was five years old and had done 28000 miles at the time so must have been on from new. The tyre place, which I've used for years, said it was age related. They were Bridgestones so not a crap make

T 24

You are allowed to sell tyres as new up to 5 years from DOT in EU.
So DOT 4914 could be sold as "new" tyre today!!
Recommended maximum using time is 6 years from installation, not from DOT.
I haven't ever seen such crackings in tyres younger than ten years.
