Just had four days off (EOFY) sucks. But spent plenty of time with a lovely young lady  :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Oh and a ride to Kenilworth Cheese factory on Saturday and played in the rain  :boogie: :boogie: :boogie2: :boogie2:

Several redundancy's at work today.  Some had requested it and were happy,  2 workmates I got on OK with really didn't want it but were chosen anyway, both used to be on my team. Taken to the office and escorted off the premises.  I think there's at least 19 going, not sure how many went today but I'm looking busy and keeping my head down.  I had a bit of a disagreement with a senior boss last Friday but I'm hoping they had picked the names before that. Interesting day at work, turn your back for five minutes, ask where your mate is and be told "he's gone!"

Just found out my Uncle Brian has died.   When I was a lot younger we were always together, I lived with him for a while, great bloke, spent a lot of time back and forth across the country at car auctions but mostly at clay pigeon shoots, not unusual to do two shoots in a day, he was serious competitive and was up for West Midlands champ a few times. We used to have our own trap and buy cartridges by the 1000. He was by far my favourite of several uncles.

Now I'm off to apologise to the wife who just shouted at me for playing "Too drunk to Fuck" cranked up to 11.

It's been one of those days.

@Tony Nitrous redundancy sucks if you don't even know it's coming.  ??? ??? ???

Happened to me twice in my working career.  :whatever: :whatever: :whatever: "your number came up" was one bosses explanation.

Uncles are more like friends I like to think, very close ones. My Dad's brother has passed and we got on famously. I miss him and think of him often. Got to remember the good times.  :boogie2: :boogie2: :boogie2:

Sex Pistols rock by the way  :happy1: :happy1: :happy1:

I'd been wanting to carry some ink for years, but never been sure of designs etc. I had my first one last September. It was a design from a pice of jewellery that I'd seen while away in Spain. My local tatto artist redrew it and did it for me.

This latest one came from this rather good bit of welding that I'd seen online..

Adding to a long list of medical conditions (long story but partly the reason I left earthworks and changed jobs and more recently took a few holidays and bought the H2 in the last year when I thought F#ck it!) I just found out I now have a Hiatal Hernia to add to the list. More tests for other issues soon. I've done well for 50+ years, but regular pneumonia, influenza and a shortage of breath for 7 months is starting to get to me. Saw a specialist today (Private) and he seems a lot more clue'd up on stuff than my regular doc. Money well spent hopefully.

My 84 yo Dad just had a hernia fixed using mesh. He said he should have had it fixed years ago.  :onya: :onya: :onya: :onya:

Take care with your lungs etc. C.O.P.D. more common and undiagnosed than people think.
