These few weeks, all my vehicles due for service all at once. Bike done, very easy. My ute today, 80k service, 2 1/2 hrs. quoted $1g from Toyota. Full service, new brake fluid, diff oil, oil n filter, fuel filter, brilliant design for a diesel filter, All checks ticked off as per manual, my labour, $250. Total cost just on $400. Now to to my cars, Corolla will cost $150, Wifes v6 Mitsi, maybe $200 Total cost, me doing, just on $1000 Thats including costing myself out at $100 per hour. For me to get dealers/garage to do, wouldve cost around $1800 at best. Take my labour charge away, i do work for free on my stuff, Total cost, inc parts n oil, $450. $1350 saving for around 6 hrs work, not too bad i reckon.

After 14 months and a LOT of hard use, I managed to kill my Sabre Saw. I took the remains (that looked a little worse for wear) back to Bunnings to be told "Not a problem, grab a new one and a couple of blades". Im happy with that!

6 year replacement warrantee !

That is good service Tony. I buy a bit of stuff from Bunnings for the same reason.  :clapping:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Exact same last week. 36 v blower. Batt stuffed 2 1/2 yrs old. Kit cost $269 then. Kit now $400, batt is $299, batt n charger $279. They gave me new batt/ charger with another 3 yrs wrty. Not sure why batt is dearer than batt/ charger. Bunnings & kmart i love for wrty.

Today. A Sunday morning in February close to home.  It's a bit warm but not bad, to be honest, I'm not really missing Kidderminster right now.

Looks like some more boat people came ashore last night Tony...... :whistling:

Probably too hot for riding in Kidderminster anyway Tony  :)

The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

It does look awesome.

I like the Redcliffe Parade there especially 'Yabby Road'. One of the best fish and chip places around there.  :onya:

I'm sure that's the same boat Mike did his 'light painting' pics of.  Tide would be out on his shots though.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

I rode to the edge of the Peak District & then helped a mate recover a dead car & swap the entire interior into his before riding home again. I only did the M1/M18 so it wasn't the most interesting ride.

Oh & french cars are shit, flimsy rubbish that almost just falls apart when you wave a screwdriver at them.

I was getting reading to put my bike gear on and go and fuel up the bike for a ride down the Gold Coast for a coffee and cake before the Gold Coast Bike Night, but in true Little Britain fashion, "Computer says No".

I've been listening to the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy on audio books in the car. Hard to believe it's 40 years old. Really enjoying it, well written, funny, clever and brilliantly read by Stephen Fry.

At home I have found something on NetFlix's called "Z Nation". Never heard of it.  A bit strange but again, silly escapism.

Yeah HHGTTG is an all time classic.
Movie was very ordinary and not very true to the books,
TV series was OK.

Today i went to Bunnings and got manure and spread it on the garden.  Way exciting now I'm having a sit down :)

Weathers looking good for tomorrow.

I've had a much needed lazy day today, which means I have jobs to do tomorrow.

Jobs or bike....  :whistling:
