I've spent the day under my new Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag & fixed the problem with the fuel tank pressurising.

Turns out there is a daft & seemingly pointless valve on the tank breather that keeps a slight positive pressure in the tank for some unknown reason. That valve was buggered & not letting any pressure out, so I've unplugged it from the breather.

Checking my hours at work and finding out I now have...

88.31 hours annual leave and 61.15 hours RDO so combined that gives me 19.66 days off with pay I can take and get extra pay due to something called "Leave Loading".

I also have 105.33 hours sick pay banked so can have 13.85 sick days.

I also have long service leave but I'm ignoring that as I really hope I'm long gone before I can claim it in another 5 years time.

As I have said before, the pay isn't brilliant, but after many years of being self employed or casual I'm loving this time off with pay thing !

Straya is sending them home thick and fast. Many hav'nt been back long and have had to re-offended already. Where did they learn that from ??  :whistling:

Been looking for 2 new jackets, just so hard. A Winter &Summer. Yesterday took them to upholsterer place, for $40 both now all re sewed, look like new. I was dreading throwing them out, both really good. Problem now solved, money saved.

I changed the secondary timing chain tensioners on my Jag, as they are a known weak spot & the ones from the 4.2 fit & resolve the issue. Note the ghetto techTM timing tools in use. Much cheaper the £250 proper set of tools. This is the LH side, but I obviously did both sides.
