After a slow, wet start to the Christmas holidays, the weather settled & was good while we had the kids & grandkids staying over the new year break.  They've all gone home now & we've tidied & put everything away, now our holiday can start.  Sea is looking good for the next few days, so off fishing today, lifting (and re-baiting) the cray pots on the way out.

Been fairly quiet for crays this season (for all) but still getting a feed. Plently of fish around, so I'll be off shortly to deal to some of them.

Lots of cars held back at the end of last year.
I do one of several brands at work and I have well over 600 to go out just in my area.
Customer wants them compliance plated as 19 not 2018 so Dec was quiet, Jan is flat out. Because I'm only 1 dept out of several I can only send out 75 cars a day.

We normaly have a 1.5 hour limit on overtime,  after 1.5 hours we get paid a meal allowance too and the bean counters don't like the expense.

So far this years that's been ignored.

Getting 2 hours or 2.5 hours overtime and a meal allowance bonus everyday.

Of coarse the dealer will only give them the 2018 build date value when they bring it back for a trade in.

Well, today I stopped to give way to a bus entering the roadway from the bus stop  and another one tapped me in the arse
Might pop up another quick thread

Went for a ride to Rotorua and across to Whakatane with management, just to make sure the wheels still go round.  :boogie2:
Photo is of Lake Rotoma. Nice little ride along some lakefront between Rotorua and Whakatane. A few bikes out on that road today.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

I didn't think the day would come, but through lack of use a small part of the day was spent blowing cobwebs off the 14.
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

I drove a dozen of the new V6 Mercedes X-Class Ute (earlier ones were 4 cylinder). They are OK but still close to being a pimped up Navara that they are based on.

I drove several of the new "GT" 1.6 Turbo Kia Cerato hatches. Most models are a n/a 2.0 but they went to a 1.6 turbo for top of the range model.  They sound nicer.

Sent a heap of the little Kia Picanto hatches out. The old model was pretty basic, the new model is much better, now there are GT and X-Line Picanto's with twin pipe exhausts, alloys, extra lights, nice interior. I'm not a real fan of little city cars but these are better than I expected.

We have a couple more Porsche GT3-RS's in. Some in your face yellow and green colours. I guess you don't buy one to blend in and be unnoticed !

I blew the cobwebs off because they were there Steve. Riding it won't happen until these feet come good.

Damn Pete.
I thought you meant "blew out the cobwebs" riding, not "blew off" wiping   :bugga:
Hope the day comes soon mate

I met up with a old motorcycle mate for breakfast this morning, haven't seen him in 34 years. We started out riding together 43 years ago, here is a pic taken in 1977, I have now been back in touch with the others in the photo.
