Here in sub-tropical south east Queensland we are not overly familiar with the concept of winter, and ride our bikes all year.

Yeah I know it's a tough gig but someone has to do it, right ?!

So when you guys in the UK talk about your riding season... when do you mean?

Mate, Scotland is beautiful but you gotta move !

For me it is all year - last year the coldest I rode in was -9 and it was hellish but I detest public transport so needs must

I usually start to see a few more bikes in Glasgow area about March through to September.
Its at the start of teh season that you hear about a lot more offs as folks forget that they got rusty not riding and the come out at the start of the season still think there MotoGP riders

Minus 9!  What tyres do you have on?  Studded ice tyres?

Bugger that, I'd be taking public tspt in those temps.

You're a very brave man Del.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

All year round for me usually on the GSX. Apart from this year where I've had my op. I haven't ridden since the end of December and won't be able to until mid to end of April.

The Bandit however only comes out to play on dry sunny days..So not very often :imrgreen:
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

Strictly April -Oct for me, to enjoy it the roads have to.be dry and salt free otherwise too much lime hardwork
Many a Donkey has lost its hoof on the rocky road, don't be that Donkey!

surely in the winter a primer coloured 14 is the one to have as they are the slowest if all and easiest to see .
