It's the Givi Trekker 52L TRK52N. Very happy with it, as whilst it's no bigger than the E52 I had on my 14, the more upright shape makes the space more useable. Will hold 2 full face lids ok.

Yes the shape was what caught my eye. Looks like very usable space. Thanks for the link.  :onya:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Haha - when we rode on the beach that was the first day on last year's Wild Atlantic Way - by the end of the week and 1500 miles later, it looked like the pictures below. It took me 10 days to strip it down and clean it, and polish every bit of alloy!!!

Sounds lots of fun!

So, drive it for 7 days, make it pretty again in 10 days, sounds reasonable, I guess?   :whistling:

NOPE! Sold it and bought a Triumph Explorer! Drive for 7 days, spend 30 minutes with a jet wash to make it clean again. Sorted  :happy1: :onya: :boogie:

Tony, do you have any idea of the maker for your grab rail type rack? Is it Renntec? Like the simplicity of that one. Also, can you fit only specific cases on it?

I'm not very informed about luggage.
I just had a look at mine.

The box says "KAPPA 52.  MONOKEY"
The rack that bolts to the bike says "SW-MOTECH"
The adapter between the two has no markings.

I've done some internet research as we don't have any bigger motorcycle / accessory shop close by to consult and seems that SW-MOTECH rack will fit with Kappa/Givi other brand boxes, just need to have the correct adapter in between. Thanks for the info though  :onya:

Just check that you can get the adapter still - I recall reading on another forum that they have stopped supplying some of the adaptors

I ordered the renntec sport rack for my 14 the rack had been terribly made I talked to the supplier who were very helpful I sent pics which were passed onto renntec so they agreed and sent me another rack direct, better but still poor quality just to say after emailing mike stevens from renntec and having the emails that asked for renntecs opinion on there quality ignored. I would never have anything else to do with renntec badly made unsafe racks. I say that due to having nothing back diagreeing with there quality having seen there CV of sorts they put on the internet telling you how good they are to customers quality of product etc.

The advantage (or disadvantage) of the Givi rack over the Renntec "grab rail" type rack is that it can take a heavier load (up to 10Kg excl any top box weight), also it does not need a top plate in order to fit a top box. The Renntec rack is only recommended for up to 6Kg incl any box weight. Now I know people exceed these weight recommendations, but I'm only stating what the manufacturers say.

So it really depends on what you want to carry on any rack you may fit....

I agree the Renntec ones look better, but the Givi one is more versatile IMO

Best side cases - I have the Givi E41 Keyless and they are absolutely brilliant. I'll post up pictures of them later when I'm on my OC and not on my iPad
