Hooli

I've been out to a bike night tonight. Somehow ended up helping serve and wash up cause they were short staffed, plus the lass who runs the cafe is rather nice...

Have someone else's pic I stole off FB when most people had left.

Got to 220 miles on the way home before she flickered onto reserve, that's a new record for me. I know I'm riding a bit slower lately but I'm still impressed by that. She'd ticked over to 169k miles earlier in this tankful too.

169K is impressive  :onya:  is the engine still standard Hooli ?

Aye pretty much just an Akra, pc3 and custom map. Barely touched either. From memory she's had the following
the stator replaced twice
Oil cooler replaced twice, on an Aaron rads one for the last 120k as they are a better design
On the third high pressure fuel filter
Third TPS
One replacement SPS
Oil cooler hoses
Sump welded as the exhaust was fitted wrong before I'd got the bike and rubbed a weak spot on it. Years later it pin holed so I got it built up with weld to sort it
Valves checked but never needed adjustment
That's about it engine wise except Halfords oil n champion filter every 4k

Today after my ride I looked at the bald side of my front tyre to work out if I could wing another ride tomorrow..
"So tell me do I feel lucky Punk"?

That is true, still can't believe I got her back unused by the scum and nearly undamaged after so long

Had a fang around the hills on a mates new to him 2015 tracer 900 , ridden a few Triumph Triples but never a yamaha before, plenty of go, but a bit light on for torque compared to the 14, handled well and plenty of legroom, certainly a bike I could live with, but wouldn't swap the 14 for it

There a couple of 200+hp MT-09's here. A guy I used ride with occasionally does turbo kits for them. They are a bit lively !

This one was on one of our rides. I'd just had my B-King dyno'd at 163hp, the MT was lighter and about 40hp more.
