its funny how people's definition of good or bad condition  varies.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

The B-King didn't like its extended time in storage!

New MOSFET Reg / Rec, new battery, plugs, fresh fuel, injector cleaner and a "spirited" 😉 100k ride. Waiting for an electrician do do a little job for me, and I need to put the new air filter and oil filter I have in and another oil change. Can't believe I've had it 15 and half years!  If I can't find another bike that I've been looking for, I did think about using the King for the drags, but after todays ride I'd be sad the lower, stretch and loud pipe it. It's great fun as it is.

Had to look twice at K7 in Blackbutt. Not mine but couple of years back, my K7 parked in almost identical place. Pub for lunch, amazing dining room.

Pie shop there is really good. A few mad ones like the meat pie with sauce and a sausage roll top crust...

... but most of the regular stuff is excellent too.

Blackbutt is part of one of my "loops" now. Shame the twistys going up the range that used to be great fun is getting rough now.

Today, after working 45 hrs a week for last 32 years, now going back to 4 day weeks. 34 hrs. 50 yrs fixing bloody cars, i try not to talk cars on here but know the mongrels inside out. Decided today, 3yrs3mths to retire. Ill be 70 then, could do it now but like working. Old Man retired at 45,then worked his guts out restoring old cars. Same difference i reckon.

Flexible 4 day week or set days. Before I retired I tried to get a 4 day week, big boss wouldn't allow it officially but I got away with taking lots of Mondays or Fridays off and having heaps of long weekends which was pretty much the same. I'd have loved to have permanently had Fridays off.

Just before the batflu panic I went on to flexiworking. I still do full time hours but 'compressed'. So I do a nine day fortnight & get every other friday off. I much prefer it as you don't really notice the slightly longer days but you do notice the day off.

Even better that due to batflu we started to work from home & the extra work time almost exactly equals the travel time to the office, so I switch the PC when I would leave the house & turn it off when I would return, so I've lost no time out of my day either.

As long as it's what you want.

I wanted permanent long weekends, but at least your way you're only ever at work for two days at a time.  :onya:

I retired at 57 and put more hours in now than I ever did when I had a paying job. Never been so busy.

Mrs works from home. We have one room thats her dedicated office area. She loves it, we only bought this place because I stood in the middle of the paddock and live streamed the view back to her at home, she can live anywhere with a mobile signal and it's only 2 and half hours to the city for important meetings. Her company have off hired some very expensive city offices and are happy with it.

Horse, talented to ride those things, too scary for me. Mate is a champ windsurfer, he has foil boards, took him a while to learn. Motorcycle stuff is cheap compared to what he spends on things.

Horse

Not very talented have got scars to prove it but they are a lot of fun filling in my retirement time nicely
